GREENLAND JACKLYN A. Age 88, of McKeesport, died Monday, March 14, 2016. She was born August 8, 1927, in Hazelton and was the daughter of the late Royce D. and Mary Leasie Abbott. She was the wife of the late William H. Greenland who died February 14, 2006. After 40 years of service she retired as the business office manager of the former McKeesport Daily News. Jacklyn was a graduate of McKeesport High School class of 1945. She is survived by sisters, Merlyn Trilli of Forest Hills and Myrna (Rich) Mattson of Weston, WV; sister-in-law, Marion Greenland of Port Vue; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. There is no visitation. Funeral service will be held Friday, March 18, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Mount Vernon Cemetery in Elizabeth Township. Arrangements are by the GILBERT FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, INC., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. MURPHY ROBERT JOSEPH "MURPH" Aged 82, of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away peacefully at Jennings Center on March 13, 2016. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Mary Greta (Cunningham) Murphy; his son, Robert Joseph Murphy, Jr.; daughter, Maryjo (Chris) Murphy Gortz; daughter, Kelly Ann (Don) Murphy Woodward; and six grandchildren, Charlie, Chloe and Lily Gortz and Catie, Donny and Michael Woodward. Murph, a lifelong Steelers fan, was born in Pittsburgh on September 6, 1933, to the late Catherine and Cornelius J. Murphy (both deceased). He is survived by three sisters, Peg (the late Gene) Magill, Catherine "Kitty" (Ed) Curley and Mary Jeanne (Kirk) Weixel; as well as many nieces and nephews. Bob, a graduate of Gannon University, worked as an engineer, retiring from GE's Nela Park location in East Cleveland. Murph had a contagious smile, and loved to tell stories and pull pranks. He lived his faith, reaching out to many in need, including an orphan he met while serving as a young man in the Army in Korea and, in later years, helping people struggling with alcoholism. He was a family man, dedicated to his children and his "Bridie," whom he adored for more than a half a century. MINCIN MARY A few days shy of her 100th birthday, formerly of Baldwin Borough, Mary passed away peacefully at Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot on Tuesday, March 15, 2016. She was born April 3, 1916, in Altoona. Daughter of the late Marina and Dario DelBianco. Mary was a loving mother, grandmother and great- grandmother. Along with being a fabulous cook and stay-at- home mother, she also loved to sew. She was active at St. Albert the Great Church in the C.C.D. Program and Eucharistic Minister for many years. She also loved gardening and spending time with her family. Mary was the mother of Robert (Lynn) Mincin of Mt. Lebanon, Mary Ann (Kenny) Dietrich of Butler and the late John A. Mincin; mother-in-law of Joan Mincin of Scott Twp.; also eight grandchildren; ten great- grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and son she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Mincin; and brother and sisters, Lucy, Angelica, Marina and Anthony. DEMPSTER ROBERT A. “BOB” Age 78, of Lexington, SC, passed away Friday, March 11, 2016, with his family by his side. He was born November 18, 1937, in Carnegie, PA, to the late Robert S. and Loretta J. Dempster. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Joan C.; also two sisters, Loretta B. Dempster and Donna Loya. He served in the U.S. Army from 1954-1957. After raising five successful children, he retired in 1997 from Williams Detroit Diesel-Allison after 40 years of service. He is survived by sons, Robert E. (Samantha) Dempster of Riverside, CA, Ronald A. (Barb) Dempster of Mount Airy, MD and Richard O. (Patricia) Dempster of Lexington, SC; daughters, Melissa A. (Doug Ketchum) Dempster of Ashton, MD and Amy D. (Jason) Gambrell of Lexington, SC; grandchildren, Robert N. Dempster, Cody (Shani) and Justin Pynn, Nick, Jack and Ben Dempster, Tiffany Wagner, Craig (Tracy) Floyd, Lauren and Dylan Gambrell; and niece, Launie Dempster. ISAACS JOSEPH E. Age 80, of Homestead, on March 4, 2016. Born October 31, 1935, to the late Alexander and Mary Isaacs; beloved husband of 46 years of Zelda (Zilner) Isaacs who passed away January 13, 2015. Beloved brother of the late Daniel (Lois survives) Isaacs, Paul (Dolores) Isaacs, Anna Marie (Jim) Compomizzi and Mary (Paul) Banik. He was a loving uncle to Daniel, Dane, late Dennis, John, Susanne, Christopher, Ronald, Maria, Lisa and Yvonne. Joseph and Zelda would want to remember their longtime good friend, Adeline Peters, who had been a wonderful part of their lives. He will be missed by sister-in-law, Polly Anne Mathusa, her daughters, Elise, Heather, Ashlee and Bethany. He had a very special place in the hearts of sister-in-law, Sylvia Hayes-McKean, her husband, Richard McKean and their daughter, Amanda and son, John. He was a member of the large Savolskis family and enjoyed attending all the annual Fourth of July reunions which celebrated 50 consecutive years last summer. Joseph retired from Jefferson Hospital in November of 2000. He and his wife enjoyed bowling, trips to visit family and had a great love of children and animals.
