For a few years, he took great pride in serving the elderly and medically- challenged patients by providing transportation to them. ZITO PAUL M., Sr. Of Fox Chapel, died suddenly on Sunday, March 6, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Sondra Zito; devoted father of Paul M. Zito, Jr. and Elizabeth Zito; loving grandfather of James Diethrich, Kathleen Cuda, Angela Cuda, Ashley Zito and Kristen Cuda; brother of Stephen Zito; son of Stephen and Dora Zito, who preceded Paul in death; along with Paul's first wife, Kathleen Zito. Paul's business career included working for United Technologies, where he rose to serve as Chief Operating Officer of Bacharach Instruments Company (which later became Bacharach, Inc.) , a company specializing in the manufacture and sale of gas detection equipment. In 1986, Paul acquired the company from United Technologies, and he continued to operate Bacharach until he sold the company in 2007. Bacharach's principal offices were located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but the company operated on a national and international basis with other offices both in North America and overseas. Following the sale of Bacharach and his retirement, Paul relocated to Tequesta, Florida, where he focused on enjoying family time and the antics of his Chihuahua family. Paul will be greatly missed by many, many good friends and loving family members. STEINER SANDRA SANDY On Friday, March 11, 2016, Sandy Steiner, daughter of Nat and Kathleen Riesberg; wife of Kyle Steiner (all OBM); sister of Betty Leigh; mother of Kim Steiner, Amy (Lou) Weiss, and Jackie (Kevin) McCafferty; grandmother of Bari, Casey, Molly, and Suzy Weiss and Mike (Melissa) and Kelly McCafferty. Born in Pittsburgh on November 18, 1935, Sandy was a lifetime resident of Squirrel Hill. She married her high school sweetheart, Kyle Steiner, in 1953 and raised three daughters. Sandy was a class act. Whether it was sage advice for her daughters or a heartfelt note to her grandchildren, she intuited what was needed at the exact right moment. Her grandchildren were lucky to be close to her, and her love for them was unconditional. She was an accomplished cook and an endless supply of mundel bread flew out of her kitchen. She survived cancer twice with incredible grace and bravery. In addition to being a very patient wife, Sandy was a great beauty from her youth until the last. We will miss her deeply. BELL RAYMOND LAWRENCE, Sr. Raymond L. Bell, Sr., age 77, of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 12, 2016, surrounded by his adoring family. He was born on March 7, 1939, in Houston, the son of Irene Madosky Bell, who preceded him in death. On September 23, 1963, he married Barbara (Bobbie Jane) Hall, who died on October 13, 2007. Mr. Bell was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Houston. He was also a member of the Ironworkers Local #3 for 50 years. Other memberships included the Houston Independent Club, Russian Brotherhood Organization and the Canonsburg Senior Citizens Center. Mr. Bell was a self-made man who instilled a great work ethic in his family. He was "The Boss". He was the man many came to for advice and guidance. His daily phone calls will be missed by many. He will be remembered fondly as saying, "All a man needs is a few kind words and a lot of love". He is survived by his loving children, Pamela Rae Bell-Bolger of Canonsburg, Cynthia Renee (Norbert) Stumpf of Washington, Ramona (Ross) Maley of Venetia and Rebecca Sue Bell of Canonsburg, his "Sonny Boy", Raymond L. He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 plus years, Betty Rapp Kehm and is survived by his devoted loving wife, Vera (Rowlands Toulouse) Kehm. He is also survived by his children, Harry (Marie) Kehm, Jr., Karen (Jack) Antoszewski, Carole (Jim Fanning) Dearth, Susan (Douglas) Meredith; stepchildren, Rob (Sandee) Toulouse, Bonnie (Craig) Kelly, Judi (Bill) Skarupa, Gary (Emily) Toulouse; and his brother, George M. (Eleanor); Harry is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 14 great- grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his first wife, he was preceded in death by his sister, Freda (Paul) Lutz; brother, William Kehm. He was employed as a conductor by the railroad for 41 plus years and performed gasoline station maintenance for Texaco for 32 plus years.
