Freed, Sr. and Wandah Elizabeth Finney Hall. William was a retired Foreman for B&W, and worked facility maintenance for BRM. He is survived by one sister, Sonya Carey Burson; three sons, Rob, Jeff (Darla), and Jamie (Jami) Freed; one daughter, Elizabeth Freed; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two ex-wives, Mary Ann Wissinger and Tina Marie Freed- Bonincontro; and Dennis C. ENDRES H. VIRGINIA GINNY Age 84, passed away on March 6, 2016, at The Oaks at Westminster Woods, Huntingdon, PA. Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Harry J. Hub Endres and her three children, Connie Devlin and her husband, Mark Devlin, Mark Endres and Barbara Endres. Ginny is also cherished by her grandchildren, Courtney Devlin, Patrick Devlin and Kelly Devlin. Helen Virginia Keller was born in Pittsburgh, PA on July 7, 1931, to the late Alonzo (Ace) Keller and Ada Bailey Keller. She grew up in Aliquippa, PA and graduated from Hopewell High School. After a year at Robert Morris Business School, Ginny began work as a secretary at Jones & Laughlin Steel headquarters. Several years later, she moved to another secretarial job at Westinghouse Electric headquarters in downtown Pittsburgh, where she met her future husband. Following their marriage in 1957, Ginny and Hub raised their family in the South Hills, living for nine years in Scott Township, then for 26 more in Upper St. Clair. Retirement saw the two longtime Nittany Lions fans move to a new home in State College, where they resided for 22 years. Ginny's dad was born in nearby Pine Grove Mills, where she enjoyed many visits with her grandparents. The family boasts four generations of Penn State grads, A.C. Keller, Hub Endres, Connie Devlin and Courtney Devlin. Ginny took particular delight in spending time with her grandchildren, whether it was a simple card game or a trip to the Jersey Shore. In addition to Penn State, she was a fan of the Pirates, Steelers and Penguins. Both Mark and Barbara are developmentally disabled and live at Allegheny Valley School, near Pittsburgh. REA HENRY E., Jr. Age 88, died peacefully in Naples, FL on March 10, 2016. A lifelong resident of Mt. Lebanon, he retired to Bonita Springs, FL in 2013. He was a graduate of Mt. Lebanon High School and served in the Army in the closing years of World War II. He graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 1949 and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1952. He practiced law for more than 60 years, most recently with the firm of Brandt Milnes & Rea of Pittsburgh. He served as a delegate to the Pennsylvania Constitutional Convention in 1967-68, was a founding member of the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County and a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, was solicitor of Pleasant Hills Borough for more than 38 years, and helped found the West Penn Multi-List in 1979. He was a former member of Valley Brook Country Club. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Mauser Rea; daughters, Constance E. Rea of Washington, DC (Gerard Gallucci), Margaret Rea Heinz of Albuquerque, NM (Leonard Heinz), and Anne E. Rea of Chicago, IL (Kenneth Bigg), and son, Henry E. Rea III of Atlanta, GA (Lisa Rea); grandchildren, Julia Rea Heinz, David Rea Heinz, and Andrew Rea Gallucci; great-granddaughter, Maggie Heinz Allen; and brother, Richard H. Rea (Mary Rea). Rush, beloved by him and daughters, Janet Rush Popoli (Skip), Jill Rush, Jean Addleman; and grandchildren, David, Lauren (Kyle), Alan (Erin), Rob (Joey), Carolyn, Billy, Eddie and Emily; and great-grandson, Soren. Loved by brothers, Bob (Pat) and Tom (Lynn) Davies; brother-in-law, Sam Dillon (late Nancy); sister-in-law, Mary Rush (late Jack); and many nieces and nephews. Member of Wallace Memorial Church of Green Tree since 1951, active as elder, teacher and Christian Education Committee member. 17 year volunteer at Sojourner House, an East Liberty based residential rehabilitation facility for women and children at risk, and Bethlehem House, a haven for homeless women. Received the Pearl of Hope award in 2010 for volunteer work at Sojourner House. Also 1998 "Volunteer of the Year" at Sojourner house. June made lifelong friendships with women and men of all ages, continuing a rich and rewarding social life beyond her 90th birthday. Graduated from South Hills High School in 1944 and received a BA in English and History from Pennsylvania College for Women (now Chatham) in 1947. Began her career teaching English for Green Tree Borough 1947-1950. After her children were grown she returned to teaching English at Jay Neff Middle School in the Keystone Oaks School District. Memorable students were former congressman and presidential candidate Ron Paul, and actor Zachary Quinto (Spock in the Star Trek reboot). After retirement, volunteered for the Allegheny County Literacy Program and as coach for the Keystone Oaks Forensic Club. In 1991 nominated as National Association of Partners in Education (NAPE) Outstanding National School Volunteer based upon her role as debate coach and for developing and implementing a program in speech and forensics at Jay Neff Middle School. The extended Davies-Rush family bonded during more than 50 yearly vacations on the Allegheny River in Tidioute, PA and in Cacapon State Park in West Virginia. HENDRICKSON KEVIN A. Age 52, unexpectedly passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2016. Born in Erie, PA, Kevin grew up in Ringwood and attended the University of Pittsburgh before moving to Sussex County. He was a self-employed carpenter who loved spending time with his family and grandkids. Kevin's passions included fishing, camping and golfing. He took great pride in beating his brothers and father regularly on the links, especially with his iron play. Not only was he an excellent student, he was also a National Honor Society Inductee and received an academic scholarship to Pitt. Some of Kevin's fondest memories involved fishing at Cupsaw Lake and the Ramapo River, camping at Round Valley with his wife and contributing defensively to the Lakeland Lancer football team that came up one win short of a perfect season and almost won the NJ state title in 1981. He was a true outdoorsman and a consummate family man; he will be deeply missed by all who knew his genuine and caring heart. He was predeceased by his mother, Sadie (Megat) Hendrickson. Kevin is survived by his beloved wife, Kristine and her children, Taylor Kapetanakis of Wantage, Cody Kapetanakis of Vernon, and Dayna Alfaro and her children, Liam and Liliana of Hamburg; his father, William Hendrickson of Jacksonville, Florida; his brothers, Will Hendrickson of Highland Lakes, Greg Hendrickson of Upper Saddle River, and Eric Hendrickson of Orlando, Florida; and his sister, Julie Pufko and her children, John Pufko, Joseph Pufko, Brenna Pufko and her daughter, Collette of Phoenixville, PA.
