FROST JAMES BAKER Age 95, of Mt. Lebanon, born on August 5, 1919, formerly of Canton, Ohio. Died April 20, 2015, at Baptist Homes Nursing Center, after a long struggle with Alzheimer's disease. He loved to play guitar, piano, and organ and to sing and play with his children, grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Part of The Greatest Generation, James was a Captain in the Army of the United States, serving in France, Germany, and Italy. A graduate of Wilkinsburg High School and Grove City College, he earned a CPA and was a longtime member of Financial Executives International while holding leadership positions with several corporations. He was devoted to his beautiful wife of 60 years, the former Marjorie Johnston of Donora (deceased). He is survived by siblings, Katharine Rathmann (Seminole, FL), Leslie Frost (Pittsburgh, with wife, Marianne), and Richard Frost (Rochester, NY); son, Scott Frost (Pittsburgh, with wife, Nancy); daughter, Suzanne Frost (Mt. Shasta, CA); grandchildren, Eric Frost (Seattle, with wife, Erica Finsness), Emily Hendrickson (Pittsburgh, with husband, Andrew Hendrickson), and Grace Rosen (Boston); and great-granddaughter, Eleanor Frost. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 2, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at Southminster Presbyterian Church, 799 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon, PA 15228. Send condolences post-gazette.com/gb
