McMILLAN WALTER BUD Age 67, of Mt. Lebanon, passed peacefully into the Lord's hands on November 21, 2014. Bud attended St. Canice Schools (grades 1-12), and Duquesne University for undergraduate, graduate and doctorate. He dedicated and enjoyed his entire career at Carlynton School District, as a school psychologist, principal (elementary and secondary), and Director of Pupil Personnel Services. Bud served in the USMC following high school, going to Vietnam where he earned several medals, including a Purple Heart. Bud's favorite activities focused around his family, and his close-knit friends from St. Canice and college. Bud is survived by his wife, Nancy (Alex); children, Shea Anderson (Brad), Patrick (Kim), and Sean; his precious grandchildren, Conner, Avery, Elle, Liam; his sister, Lynn DeCarlo (Pat); his loving niece, Gina Flucker (Bob); and his large, beloved extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws. Bud was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Betty; and sister, Judith. She loved her family, playing Bridge, cooking, and her cottage at Canadohta Lake, PA. She had attended St. Bonaventure Catholic Church of Glenshaw, PA before moving to Canadohta Lake. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew, in 1997; and a sister and brother-in-law, Verea and Thomas Smith. Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Kimbrough of Canadohta Lake, PA and Susan Gallagher and her companion, Ted Luba, of Union City, PA; two sons, Daniel Gallagher of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Michael Gallagher of Cambridge Springs, PA; eight grandchildren; and four great- grandchildren.
