VINSKI LILLIAN P. Of Shaler Twp., on September 27, 2014. And so God calls home one of his finest of all his daughters. Lillian was an incredibly faithful and grateful woman who gave her all, always, for others. Her perpetual smile and desire to learn never ceased, nor did her desire to share and teach. A gentle woman who did her best to be Christlike, she passed in peace and soulful prayer at her home, surrounded by loved ones. An adventurer and philosopher, Lillian's travels took her to Europe and to the Virgin Islands, where she would eventually live, teach and raise her daughter, before returning home to Pittsburgh. She leaves behind many special friends and family. But number one is her only and devoted daughter, Suzannah Maduro, her loving friend and caretaker. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute, UPCI/UPMC Cancer Center Development, UPMC Cancer Pavilion, Suite 1B, 5150 Centre Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15232.
