BUNGO JANE E. LORENC Age 93, Braddock Hills, quietly on Labor Day, September 4, 2017, Jane Lorenc Bungo passed into life eternal. She was the last surviving child of Joseph and Theresa Rayhel Bungo. Jane is survived by her son, Joseph of Kensington, MD; and a grandson, Louis Bungo; and several nieces. Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; and a grandson, Joseph P. Bungo, Jr.; her brothers, Stanley and Walter; and an infant sister, Helen. KNESS ROBERT “BOB” Of North Strabane, formerly of Upper St. Clair, passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2017, after spending his final days surrounded by his family and friends. Bob is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joan, and his children, Lynn (Jerome) Nelson, Robin Wertz, Mark (Kim) Kness, and Sandy (Andy) Casper. He is also survived by his twelve grandchildren, who were his pride and joy, Stephen, Lindsey, David, Abby, Catherine, Matthew, John, Emily, Ava, Mia, Jack and Max. Bob is also survived by a sister, Donna Hedges, of Florida. After graduating from St. Martin Catholic School, Bob entered the Army and upon returning, married Joan and started a career as a stockbroker. They moved to Upper St. Clair, where they raised their family and Bob became the owner of Dankar Fire Equipment Co. and Industrial Safety Supply, Inc. Bob loved the water and many of his happiest times were spent on his boat, fishing at Deep Creek Lake, MD, where family and friends often gathered. In later years Bob's favorite times were spent with his grandchildren, whether cheering them on at their sporting events or playing marathon sessions of cards and dominos. Bob also enjoyed friends gathered on his back porch, with the Bucs on the radio. Family and friends are welcome at BEINHAUERS, PETERS TOWNSHIP, on Sunday, September 10, 2017, from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. and 4:00-8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 11, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Benedict of the Abbott Church, McMurray, followed by interment in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. WEIR CHARLOTTE M. “SHARKY” Age 84, of Brookline on Monday, September 4, 2017, at home. Born in Jefferson Hills Boro, she was the daughter of the late Charles Weir and Helen Weir Rusnak. Sharky served honorably with the US Army in Germany and in her early years worked for American Thermo Plastics in Pittsburgh. She is survived by her longtime companion, Lucy Pesano; sisters, Kathy (Edward) Emerick and Joyce Sanders, both of Glassport; loving caretakers, niece, Laura Russell; sister, Kathy; and lifelong friend, Deb Enz. She was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Nonie Weir Magroski. Sharky leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. ZANG STEPHEN M. Steve passed peacefully at home, with his family by his side on September 4, 2017, at the age of 69. He was a resident of Richland Twp. Beloved husband of Jeannette (Carter) Zang; loving father of Justine B. (Ron Woloshun) Zang, Jon N. (Joyce Muvuti) Zang, Stephanie M. (Charles) Sholhead, Jeremy L. Zang, and Tanner J. Zang; brother of Henry (Sue) Zang and David (Kathy) Zang; grandfather of Sienna, Jaxon, and Zoe Zang. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis H. and Wilma J. (Juha) Zang. Steve was a dedicated life member of the Richland Sportsman Club, taught Hunter's Safety with the PA Game Commission, and served on the Pine Richland Youth and High School Lacrosse Boards for many years. Steve worked for Benco Dental for 30 years. He honorably served in the US Army and reserves for 27 years. TOMAS KATHY Age 86, of Lenexa, KS, formerly of Duquesne, PA, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2017, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Zaborsko Selo, Croatia, to Mijo and Jela Smenderovac. In 1955, she married her late husband, Michael and they had two children before the family immigrated to the United States and settled in Duquesne in 1973. After her husband passed, Kathy moved to Lenexa to stay with her daughter who compassionately cared for her to the end. She was retired from Riverview Center-Jewish Senior Assisted Living Center - Pittsburgh, PA, where she worked as a seamstress for almost 20 years. Kathy loved flowers and enjoyed sewing, needlepointing and gardening. She was a loving, generous, and kind person who enjoyed her family and little children. She could light up a room with a most beautiful smile and, even in her most difficult moments, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren could bring a smile to her face. She was also preceded in death by her parents; four brothers and a sister. Kathy is survived by her daughter, Mary (Walter) Rendulic, of Lenexa, KS, son, David (Carla) Tomas, of North Huntingdon; grandchildren, Adam and Maria Tomas and Monica (Carlos) Bello; great-grandchildren, Julian and Adrian Bello; brother-in-law, John (Josephine) Baic, sister-in-law, Marica (late Drago) Spudic, and the late Josip (Micika) Tomas; and nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Peter Holt and the St. Luke's Hospice staff of Kansas City for their exceptional care, compassion, and support. RAMALEY ROBERT A., Sr. Age 66, of Conneaut Lake, died Sept. 2, 2017, at the Meadville Medical Center. He was born in Murrysville May 14, 1951, a son of Arthur and Bernice (Johnson) Ramaley. He married Wanda Marie Zarembinski Aug. 22, 1981, and she preceded him in death Dec. 24, 2016. He was a 1969 graduate of Franklin Regional High School in Murrysville and was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the US Air Force from 1971-1975. Shortly after moving to Conneaut Lake, he and his wife, Wanda purchased Run A Muck Campground from his father in 1984. He retired from Run A Muck in 2017 and his son, Robert, Jr. took over operations as the 3rd generation family owner. He was known as Mr. Fix-It; always being able to repair or rebuild anything. He was a die-hard Pittsburgh Steeler fan and loved socializing with his campground family. He was a former member of the Linesville VFW Post #7842 and American Legion Post #462. In his younger years, he also enjoyed fishing trips to Canada. He is survived by a son, Robert A. Ramaley, Jr. and his wife, Nikki, of Conneaut Lake; two grandchildren, Leah Kendri Ramaley and Robert A. Ramaley III; a brother, Dan Ramaley; a sister-in-law, Debbie Stewart and her husband, Dave, of Linesville; and a brother-in-law, Ludwig Zarembinski, of Linesville. FELDMAN HERB Passed away at his home on Sunday, September 3, 2017, under the loving care of his grandson, Aaron Scott and Aaron's partner, Brittany Gohn. He was a month shy of his 91st birthday and was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dr. Patricia Feldman; and stepson, Scott Bruder. Herb was an Army Veteran, with outstanding knowledge of World War II history, an insurance salesman, and his friendly presence, love and commitment to his family and precise building of World War II model tanks was known and appreciated by his family and friends. Daughter of the late Theodore and Panagiota Gianoutsos, she was born in Pittsburgh, was a lifelong resident of Pittsburgh and also a lifelong and founding member of Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Jerry Trilivas, who served with the allied forces in Greece in WWII; her son, Peter; sister, Helen Gianoutsos Sofis; and brother, George Gianoutsos; mother of Patty and Alex (Amy) Trilivas; grandmother of Jerry (Angie) and Alesandra; sister of Katherine Gianoutsos Straw (Charles) of Lakeland, FL; also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends in Mt. Lebanon, Dormont and the Twin Towers where she resided. Mary became a friend to everyone she met by her kind, loving and thoughtful personality.
