PATALSKI SISTER MARY MIRIAM (JOSEPHINE PATALSKI) On Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013, a member of the Felician Sisters, of Moon Twp., for 78 years, at the age of 96. Sister was a native of Wilmerding, PA and was the daughter of the late Mariann Czupski and John Patalski. She was preceded in death by her parents; and the following brothers, Bruno, Walter, Matthew, Stanley, Francis, and John. Sister Mary Miriam is survived by two sister-in-laws, Rose Mary Hoyman of Turtle Creek and Ann Patalsky of Wilmerding. Survivors also include numerous nieces, nephews and more than 1500 Felician Sisters. Friends will be received at the Felician Sisters Convent, 1500 Woodcrest Avenue, Coraopolis, PA, on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013 from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m., with a Wake Service at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in the Convent Chapel. STERN ALBERT J., Jr. Age 83, of Cranberry Township, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2013, while under the care of the St. John's Specialty Care Center in Mars. Born April 12, 1930 in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert J. Stern, Sr. Al is survived by his son, Michael A. Stern (Nancy) of Cranberry Township; his daughter, Beverly A. Welsh of North Olmsted, OH; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Services for Al were held privately by his family. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 324 E. Grandview Avenue, Zelienople. RIZZUTTO LOUIS ANTHONY Went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 1, 2013. Born March 16, 1922 in Belle Vernon. Son of the late Dominick and Mary Rizzutto and beloved stepfather, Charles “Duke” Russo. Preceded in death by his beloved first wife, Pauline DeRose Rizzutto; brothers, James, Albert, Sam, Joseph, and Robert; and sisters, Theresa, Mary, Anna, Margaret, and Princess. Survived by his wife, Pauline Kotula Rizzutto; a sister, Jean Goshorn; his loving children, Louis W. Rizzutto, Richard (Shari) Rizzutto, Marlene Roth, and Susan (David) Wheeler; grandchildren, Ryan (Kayla) Krause, Daniel (Yolanda) Siegel, Ashleigh and Courtney Markel, Matthew (Lauren) Rizzutto, Bradley, Sarah and Alex Rizzutto; great-grandchildren, Caleb Rizzutto, Alex Krause and Precious; also survived by his brother-in-law and best friend, Joseph DeRose. He was a lifelong member of St. Margaret of Scotland Church in Green Tree, PA, American Legion Post 823, World War II veteran Army Air Corps, 99th Bomb Group, 416th Squadron Engineer, top turret gunner B-17, bomber flying fortress. He was the Pittsburgh division manager for Inter Ocean Insurance (Cincinnati Life Insurance) until retirement. He was an essential part of many lives and his children and grandchildren. CORBETT Rev. JOHN B. Age 83, of Pittsburgh, on Saturday, November 30, 2013. Loving son of the late Patrick L. and Elizabeth (McGillick) Corbett; faithful brother of Frank P., Thomas X., James J., Joseph M., Edward J. Corbett, and the late Margaret Ann “Maggie” Daley; also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, and parishioners he had served as a Diocesan Priest for 57 years. Father Corbett was a graduate of St. Bernard Elementary School, St. Fidelis High School, and St. Vincent Seminary, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1956 and his Master of Divinity degree in 1986. He was ordained a priest on May 26, 1956 by Bishop John Dearden at St. Paul Cathedral. He served the Diocese of Pittsburgh as Parochial Vicar at St. Paul Parish, Butler, PA, Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish, Midland, PA, St. Mary Parish, 46th Street, Pittsburgh, St. Joseph Parish, New Brighton, St. Angela Merici Parish, White Oak, and Holy Innocents Parish, Landis Street, Pittsburgh. He served as Pastor at St. Ann Parish, Waynesburg from 1972 until 1986 and at St. John the Baptist Parish, St. John Street, Pittsburgh from 1986 until 1991. Father John also served as Chaplain at Marian Manor Nursing Home from 1991 until 1995. Friends will be welcomed in St. Bernard Church, 311 Washington Road, Mt.
