LIMAURO MARY ELIZABETH Age 73, of Wilson, passed away Monday, November 2, 2015. Mary was the daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth Noonan and the loving wife of the late, Vincent D. Limauro. A private Memorial Service will be held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Mary was a Boston College Nursing School graduate and worked as a registered nurse for many years. Earlier in her life, she enjoyed living overseas in Taiwan with her husband, Vincent, as he served in the United States Air Force. After many moves with the Air Force, they settled in Wheaton, Illinois, a Chicago suburb, to raise her family. Mary retired to Wilson in 1985. She enjoyed travel, reading, and visiting her grandchildren. Mary is survived by her sons, Dr. David Limauro and wife, Kathleen, of Wexford, Pennsylvania, and Paul Anthony Limauro and wife, Denice, of Carmel, Indiana. Mary was the dear grandmother of seven grandchildren, Michael, Andrew, Gracie, David, Jake, Teddy and Anna. RUSSELL JAMES E. Age 81, of Bethel Park, passed away at home on Sunday, November 1, 2015, after a long struggle with cancer. Jim grew up in a small town, Olean, New York, where he met his beautiful wife of 61 years, Rose Marie, and graduated from St. Bonaventure with a business degree. Jim served on a carrier with the Navy in the Korean War, spending some time in Japan and then stationed in northern California with his best buds, Ed, John and Mike. The family relocated to Rochester, NY where he began working for the Treasury Department, finally settling in Bethel Park where he and Rose raised their children, Denise, Kathie (John), Jeff (Mercia) and Laurie. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren, Lauren, RJ and Jordan. Jim was a quiet, caring man with a love of slot machines, crossword puzzles and coin collecting, Peanut Butter M&M's and Klondike Bars! He was a gifted carpenter, drafting and building many things around the house as a hobby. He said his greatest accomplishments in life were his four children. Jim was surrounded by loving and supportive neighbors, Charlie, Maureen and Cara, Dave, Holly, Sarah and Emily, Tom and Diane, his close friends, Marlene and Marie; and leaves behind a sister-in-law, Vivian, all who will miss him dearly. He was also predeceased by his parents, Mildred and Jerome; his brothers, William and Robert; and nephew, Tommy. A member of St. Louise de Marillac Parish, he was a devout Catholic and was very thankful for the Eucharistic ministers who came to the house when he was no longer able to attend Mass. Thank you to the Allegheny Health Network, especially Maria, Ann, Brooke, Becca and Cassie who helped care for him. Funeral arrangements will be handled by BEINHAUERS FUNERAL HOME. EVANS FLORENCE B. Age 94, a resident of Longwood at Oakmont and formerly of New Kensington, died on Monday, November 2, 2015, at her residence. She was born March 4, 1921, in Springdale to the late John N. and Inez Siegfried Borland. In 1947, she married Kenneth J. Evans of New Kensington, who preceded her in death in 2006 after 58 years of marriage. Mrs. Evans was a 1938 graduate of Springdale High School, and attended Grove City College from 1938 to 1940. From 1940 to 1947, she was employed as a credit clerk by the Wear-Ever Division of ALCOA in New Kensington, leaving that position to become a homemaker, mother, and church and community volunteer. For over 65 years she was a member of the First United Methodist Church of New Kensington, where she taught children's Sunday School for over 25 years. In addition, she served as President of the United Methodist Women, and was active in many other church organizations. She was also a past member of the Aluminum City Eastern Star, serving as a Worthy Matron, and had served as President of the Women's Club of New Kensington and President of the Pucketos Garden Club. Mrs. Evans is survived by her five children, K. James, Jr. (Lisa), of Bradford, PA, William J., of Marietta, GA, Stephen H. (Lisa), of Alpharetta, GA, Jeffrey R. (Sharon) of McCandless, and Anne E. (Nicholas) Korenowski, of Chagrin Falls, OH; and five grandchildren, Shea Nicole and Casey Leigh Evans, and Kayla Anne, Jenna Anne and Nicholas Evans Korenowski; in addition, she is survived by her brother, Robert S. (Emma) Borland, of Cheswick; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a sister and a brother, Edith Cooper and John Jack Borland. TUOZZOLO REV. LEONARD J., C.S.Sp. Fr. Leonard J. Tuozzolo, C.S.Sp., of Bethel Park, a member of the Congregation of the Holy Spirit, died peacefully on November 5, 2015, at Libermann Hall. He was 83 years of age. Father Tuozzolo was born June 26, 1932, in Woodside, NY. He professed his vows as a member of the Congregation of the Holy Spirit on August 22, 1954, at Holy Ghost Novitiate in Ridgefield, CT and was ordained to the Priesthood June 4, 1959, at St. Mary's Seminary, Ferndale in Norwalk CT. Father's first assignment was to Sacred Heart Parish, Emsworth, PA (1961-1964); he was named Vocation Director (1964-1966) and Assistant Pastor at St. Joseph's, Bay City, MI (1966-1971) until he once again took on the position of Vocation Director and Chaplain at Duquesne University, Pittsburgh (1971-1975). He was pastor of St. Patrick Parish, Charleston, SC (1975-1978), National Director of the Missionary Vehicle Association (1978-1981) and then traveled to Kenya, East Africa to work in the Ilkerin Mission with fellow Spiritan Fr. Eugene Hillman. Upon his return to the States from 1982-1999 he ministered in St. Benedict the Moor, Detroit, MI, St. Joseph, Bay City and was pastor of St. Mark the Evangelist NY where he served for 12 years. In 1999 he became Director of the Spiritan Foundation, the former fundraising division of the Congregation, and in 2002 was appointed Pastor of Our Lady Queen of Peace, Arlington, VA. Fr. Tuozzolo retired to Libermann Hall in 2009. Fr. Tuozzolo was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Margaret Telesco Tuozzolo; and his sister, Marian. He is survived by his brother, John Tuozzolo of Long Island, NY; and his sister, Laura Brenn of Ridge, NY; and many nieces and nephews and loving friends. There will be viewing in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel at the Spiritan Center, 6230 Brush Run Road, Bethel Park on Monday, November 9, 2015, from 3-5 p.m. and Tuesday, November 10, 2015, from 9-10:45 a.m. followed by Mass of Resurrection at 11 a.m. and lunch. Burial will take place at the Spiritan Cemetery on the grounds of Holy Ghost Preparatory School in Bensalem, PA on Wednesday, November 11, 2015.
