WATTS ELIZA HELEN (WERCHOWSKI) Age 102, passed away on April 11, 2015, in Valparaiso, IN. Eliza moved from Trafford, PA to Valparaiso, IN in 2006. Eliza was born on July 15, 1912, in Pittsburgh, PA to Walter and Aniela (Lewicka) Werchowski. On August 24, 1944, she married Francis J. Gill, who preceded her in death on December 18, 1944. On June 14, 1947, she married Clement P. Watts, who preceded her in death on April 15, 2006. Eliza is survived by her sons, Thomas R. Watts, Sr. of Farmington, PA and William R. Watts (Michele) of Valparaiso, IN. She is also survived by grandchildren, Thomas Watts, Jr., Kevin Watts, Michael Watts (Kate), Kathryn Demitroulas (Robert) and Daniel Watts; by great- grandchildren, Samantha Watts, Isabella Watts, and two great-grandchildren expected to arrive in September 2015. Eliza was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Elizabeth Baugher, Stella Luff, Nellie Werchowski, August Werchowski, Albert Werchowski, Josephine Waldschmidt and Lawrence Werchowski. Eliza was a very caring woman, who always had a smile on her face. She loved her children and grandchildren very much and enjoyed making all kinds of treats for them. Throughout her life, Eliza worked at various jobs such as the Joseph Horne Company, Kubric's Farm Market, St. Regis Church, the Trafford Public Library and Sherm Edwards Candy Store. She was a dedicated den mother to her boys during their Cub Scout days. Eliza touched many hearts during her long stay on this earth and she will be missed by all those who knew her. Family and friends will be received on Friday only from 6-8 p.m. in the JOHN M. DOBRINICK FUNERAL HOME, INC., 702 7th St. (St. Rt. 130), Trafford (412) 372-3111. Parting prayers will be on Saturday at 9 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a funeral mass at 9:30 a.m. in the St. Regis Church with Fr. David Nazimek as celebrant. Interment will be private in the St. Patrick's Cemetery, Gallitzin.
