FRAME THOMAS RHEEM Much-loved husband of Patricia Wilczynski Frame, passed away suddenly Wednesday, September 10, 2014. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick C. Frame and Alice Rheem Frame. He was born April 28, 1937, in Pittsburgh, PA. Tom was an army veteran who served in the Korean War. He worked for PennDOT and retired in 1991, and moved to Henderson, NV. Tom is survived by his wife, Patricia; sister, Nancy Frame (Larry Swaton); brother, Frederick (Rick) Frame; five nieces, Julie DeLisle, Jody Hill, Lori Brucker, Joanne Eckert, and Leah Barett; and one nephew, R.C. Frame; and many cousins. Tom will be remembered as a person who enjoyed life and cherished the friendships he developed over the years. Tom will be missed by all who knew him. Malcolm is survived by his wife, Delphine Tarullo Clemens; and his three children, Thomas W. Clemens (Laura), Lynne Penco (Michael), Carol Brown (Edward); eight grandchildren, Michael and Eric Clemens, Kevin and Jeffrey Clemens, Matthew, Christopher and Jessica Penco, and Emily Brown; and niece, Lisa Balmer Keller; also survived by ex- daughter-in-law, Michele Muracca Clemens; and sister-in-law, Carol Daiss. Predeceasing Malcolm were his first wife, Dorothy Daiss Clemens; his sister, MaryAnn Clemens Balmer; and his parents, Robert and Elizabeth Malcolm Clemens. Malcolm graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a BS degree and a master's degree in Hygiene from their School of Public Health. He was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and the Society of the Sigma Xi. Additionally, Malcolm was a member of the American Chemical Society and a member of the Engineers Society of Western PA. He was a past employee of Hagan, Calgon, Merck and Calgon Carbon Corporation. THOMPSON THOMAS “TOM” Age 82, of Indiana Twp., peacefully Oct. 11, 2014, surrounded by his family. Born May 9, 1932, Tom was the son of the late James M. and Agnes (Littleman) Thompson. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 58 years, the late Ruth (James) Thompson; and his sister, the late Shirley Breitigam. Tom was the loving father of Scott (Jill) Thompson, Randy Thompson, and Bonnie Jean (John) Thompson Solensky. He was the devoted grandfather to nine grandchildren, Johnny, Benjamin, Maxwell, Justin, Juliet, Sonja, and Asher Solensky, and Jessica and Matthew Thompson. Tom grew up in Wilkinsburg and attended Wilkinsburg High School. Tom served his country during the Korean War. He worked at Drake Bakery as a sales manager and driver. During his life, Tom was a competitive fast-pitch softball player and coach of youth baseball. He enjoyed golf, bowling, playing cards, checkers, and charades with friends and family. He was a dedicated Steelers fan. He was a proud Scottishman who, in his retirement years, enjoyed traveling with Ruth and family. Beloved husband of Corrine (Pelger) Ward; loving father of Craig and Scott Ward; grandfather of Ryan (Trinity) Ward; great-grandfather of Nico and Noah. Louis was President of Sheet Metal Air Conditioning Contractors National Association from 1974-1975, President and Director of SMACNA of Western PA from 1966-1970, Labor Chairman of SMACNA of Western PA and National, President of South Hills Country Club in 1969, member of the Duquesne Club, Life member of The Royal Order of Jesters, Class of 1967. He was proud of his service in the US Navy. He attended the University of Pittsburgh. A member of the Dormont- Whitehall Lodge No. 684 and proud author of "The Buck Starts Here." In addition, he was the founder of Crest Air, Inc., co-founder of Ductmate Industries, Inc. and C.L. Ward & Family, Inc. BERNARD JOHN LOUIS Age 78, of Hickory, went to be with his Lord and Savior, on Monday morning, October 13, 2014. He was born in Canonsburg on April 19, 1936, the son of Edith Antonietta Bernard of Hickory, and the late Louis Bernard. A graduate of Chartiers High School, he received his master's degree, and credits for a doctorate in rehabilitation from the University of Pittsburgh. He was employed by the Commonwealth of PA, Dept. of Labor and Industry, retiring in 1991, as administrator of the Pittsburgh District Office. In addition, he also worked on the staff of CCAC, and was a licensed psychologist. Mr. Bernard was a 50-year member of the Hickory Lion's Club. He served on the board of the SHOUT group, and made a lifelong commitment to helping people with disabilities, with organizations such as the Competitive Employment Opportunities Group. He was married for 53 years to Priscilla Jayne Beaumariage, who survives; also surviving are a son, Michael John (Denise) Bernard of Carnegie; a daughter, Michelle Lynn (Alan J.) Helfer of Canonsburg; four grandchildren, Renee and Alexander Bernard, and Allison and Anna Helfer; a sister, Carol Cox of Eighty-Four; nephews, Eric and Jeff Cox; and sister-in-law, Marjorie Beaumariage. BENVIN JOSEPH G. Age 90, of Shaler Twp., died suddenly, on Sunday, October 12, 2014, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Aspinwall. He was the beloved husband of Anne (Knauer) Benvin, who passed away in June 2010. He was the loving father of Joanne Van Deusen, Debby (Tom Mitchell) Benvin, Mary Jo (Joe) Verdi and the late infant daughters, Judith Elaine and Patricia Gail; grandfather of Michele (Brian) Sullenger, Michael (Amy) Van Deusen and Marissa Cieply; great- grandfather of Alexis and Camden Sullenger; brother of the late Robert Benvin and Eleanor Edwards; son of the late Joseph and Anna (Milcic) Benvin. Joseph was a decorated Army veteran of WWII, where he served in the European Theatre of Operation with the 29th Division of the 175th Infantry. He was the recipient of the Purple Heart for wounds received in enemy action, the Bronze Star medal for heroic achievement, Bronze Service stars, the Normandy Liberation medal from the French government, and numerous other medals. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, American Legion, Elks, Moose, DOH and VFW. After his discharge from the Army, he graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, served as Justice of the Peace in Etna, was employed at the Internal Revenue Service and had his own accounting and tax service business. Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-8 p.m. at the BOCK FUNERAL HOME, LTD., 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw. Mr. Smith had an extensive career with CONSOL Energy in the Mining and Gas Industry. He then retired an executive of CONSOL Energy. Mr. Smith had varied interests ranging from fishing and bird hunting to coin and art collecting.
