THEYS MARJORIE (WAGNER) Age 90, of Sherwood Oaks, formerly of Sewickley, PA left this earth to rest eternally with her beloved husband on Tuesday, July 1, 2014. Born September 8, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Peter H. and Gladys M. Wagner. Marjorie led a wonderful life, graduating from Sewickley High School and attended the Sewickley Valley Hospital School of Nursing, graduating with a RN Degree. It was during this time she met and married the love of her life, James A. Theys. They were married in 1946. Working at Deaconess Hospital in Cincinnati, OH, she helped support them while James completed his Degree in Engineering at the University of Cincinnati. Moving back to the Pittsburgh area, she briefly left her profession to raise two sons and rejoined nursing, working at Sewickley Valley Hospital as a nurse and health director at the School of Nursing until she retired. A strong woman of conviction, Marge was dedicated to her family, husband, church and volunteer organizations. She led by example and provided a loving home to her family. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, a volunteer at the Family Room at Sewickley Valley Hospital and a board member of the Friendship House in Sewickley. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, James, on May 18, 2014. Surviving are her two sons, Jeffri A. Theys and wife, Nancy (Jarosz) of Ross Twp., and Jay Theys of New Brighton; she was the proud grandmother of seven grandchildren, Jason W. and Allison (Schmitz) Theys of Crafton, Jonathan and Emily (Marcel) Theys of Richland Twp., Matthew and Maria (Baker) Theys of Ross Twp., Lucas and Krista (Mann) Theys of Hopewell Twp., Stephanie E. Theys of Johnstown and Clayton Theys of Ross Twp.; great-grandmother of Haley Marie, Lincoln Emerson and Violet Clementine Theys. Visitation Thursday 4-8 p.m. at COPELAND'S, 702 Beaver St., Sewickley. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Sewickley United Methodist Church. (Everyone to meet at church).
