Mary Louise was employed with Peoples Bank of Unity until her retirement in 1996. She also served as a member of the Plum Borough School Board. After retirement, Mary Louise enjoyed participating in the Golden Agers Organization, as well as, assisting at the Plum Borough Tax Office. Some of her favorite pasttimes included enjoying lunch with her friends and spending time at the Rivers Casino. Pat was a former employee of Duquesne University in their housekeeping department and a lifetime member of St. Rita's Church in Munhall. Pat is survived by his loyal caregivers, Gina Karafa and Jean Mikelonis; nephew of Ed and Patsy Vereb; and cousin Kenny. Pat will be missed by his good friend, Carol, and his beloved companion, Rocky. CAROL L. VUKSON Age 85, of Pittsburgh (most recently of Yorktown, VA), passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at the Hospice House of Williamsburg with her family by her side. Born on June 23, 1933 in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Reinhart and Emma (Beck) Gimber. Carol was married to the love of her life, Joseph J. Vukson for 32 years prior to his passing in 1993. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her Son, Paul Vukson, of Yorktown, VA and her Daughter, Joanne (Jacob) Verhulst of Yorktown, VA; her grandchildren, Melissa (Daniel) Cantu, Nicole (Stacy) Mann, Jacob (Joanna) Verhulst, Christina Verhulst, and Michael Verhulst; her great-grandchildren, Vincent Cantu and Isla Mann; and her sister, Rosemarie Vukson. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Ruth Kernan, LaVerne Kernan, Violet Craig, Jean Frederick, and Lois Bolsinger. Her family will fondly remember Carol for her sense of humor, her can-do spirit, her endless energy, her love of shopping, the piles of gifts at Christmas time, and her hatred of dirt! The family of Carol would like to thank the staff at the Gardens of Warwick Forest for the many years of care. A very special thank you to the wonderful and loving staff and caregivers at the Hospice House of Williamsburg, who in Carol's final day were angels to Carol and her family. WENDY LYNN GEORGE Passed away on May 1, 2019, in Greensboro, NC; she passed peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones. Wendy was born March 30, 1955, to the late Martha and Robert Wilson in Sewickley, PA. Wendy was raised in Pittsburgh, where she met her beloved husband of 41 years, Dallas George. Wendy and Dallas graduated from North Allegheny High School in 1973. Wendy went on to attend Bethany College in West Virginia. After graduation, she and Dallas wed and moved to Boston, where Wendy started her career in advertising. The couple eventually moved to Chicago where she continued her career at Leo Burnett Advertising Agency. The couple settled down in Lincolnshire, Illinois where they raised their two children, Jessica and Jeffrey, and built wonderful friendships within the community. Wendy was always warm, kind, and thoughtful, making her a wonderful mother and friend. Wendy was actively engaged in many community projects and was adored by all who knew her. Wendy and Dallas relocated to North Carolina in 2010 where they found a community within their neighborhood and the Westminster Presbyterian Church. Wendy was also a member of the Guilford Battle Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Wendy was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Martha Wilson; and brother-in-law, Mark Schweers. She is survived by her husband, Dallas George; children, Dr. Jessica George (Chris Massie) and Jeffrey George; and her two sisters, Sandra Schweers and Donna Hill. G. GRAHAM GASS Age 91, a lifelong resident of Moon Township, passed away peacefully at West Hills Health and Rehab on Thursday, May 2, 2019. Born November 22, 1927, in the family home in Carnot, he was one of three sons to the late Fred H. and Ida Belle (Irwin) Gass. Beloved husband for 68 years to Gloria (Coradi) Gass; loving father of Terry (Joyce) of Coraopolis, Bruce (Elizabeth) of Crescent, and James (Teri Jo) of Marietta, GA; cherished grandfather of Mark (Mirage), Steven, Christian (Heather), Lee (Courtney), Alexandra and Dina (Michael); proud great-grandfather of Addison, Brayden, Carson, Ethan, Wyatt, Graham, Bailee and Banyan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Dr. F. Dale Gass and John “Jack” Gass. Graham was a graduate of Moon High School, class of 1945. Immediately after graduation, he was called to serve his country and with no hesitation he joined the U.S. Navy fighting during WWII. For 38 years, he worked for Columbia Gas, retiring in 1989 as a meter inspector. Graham was a handyman of sorts who enjoyed fixing anything. He also was an avid Pittsburgh Sports Fan. As a lifetime member of Moon Volunteer Fire Department, Graham joined at age 16 and was a fireman through and through. He held several offices in the fire department and loved to work the "famous fish fries." He also was a member of Sharon Community Presbyterian Church. Visitation Sunday 2-4, 6-8 at COPELAND'S MOON TOWNSHIP, 981 Brodhead Rd. where service will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. Rev. Ron Schermerhorn, officiating. KENNETH R. SEISEK Age 68, of Whitehall (formerly of Banksville), passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 1, 2019. Loving Husband of 42 years to Karen (Scerba) Seisek; devoted father of Michele (Dustin) Monokian of Melbourne, FL, Nicole (Colin) Leber of Mt. Lebanon, and Amanda (Joseph) Heukeshoven of Brookline; proud grandfather of Alexa and Chloe Monokian and Sydney and Carson Leber; son of his late parents, Frank and Ruth (Ritter) Seisek; brother of Joan Beyer; brother-in-law of Michael (Cindy) Scerba, Cynthia Scerba and Donna (Roy) Meyer; also survived by nieces, nephews and their children. He will be dearly missed by his loyal pup, Kirby. Ken was a former member of the Army National Guard of Pennsylvania. In 2012, he retired from the City of Pittsburgh Department of Public Safety-Bureau of Building Inspection after 24 years of service. Prior to that, he was employed by the City's Automotive Garage for 7 years. Ken always had a passion for cars and worked at several garages as a licensed automotive and truck mechanic. He also enjoyed doing freelance auto repair and bodywork in his spare time. He took pride in working with his late father on the cabin he built in the Pymatuning Lake area. He looked forward to making memories there with his family, before becoming ill. His family meant everything to him. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that hospitality donations be made to the nurses and staff of UPMC Mercy's 12th floor, in appreciation for the compassionate care they delivered to Ken and his family during his final months. GARY W. LEE Born in Berea, Ohio on December 24, 1968, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 30th  at age 50. Gary lived in Houston, Texas most of his life where he met and married his high school sweetheart, Sally, and started a family. Gary began his career in the car business in Houston and later moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He continued his career as a General Manager/partner with the Auffenberg Dealerships in Pittsburgh until his death. Gary is survived by his wife of 27 years, Sally; two daughters, Katie of Stow, Ohio, and Kari, a senior at West Virginia University; his parents, Skip and Judy Lee of Morrow, Ohio; his sister, Wendy Lee of Pittsburgh; his brothers, Todd and his wife, Katie, of Mason, Ohio, and Jeff and his wife, Cari, of Loveland, Ohio; sister-in-law, Sammi King and her husband, Philip, of Buchanan, Virginia; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Beloved husband of Patricia Costella Pascoe; son of the late James and Norma (Brewer) Pascoe; loving father of James (Gabrielle) Pascoe and Jason (Tori) Pascoe; brother of Robert (Renee) Pascoe, the late Barbara (Terry) Timlin and late Gary Pascoe; grandfather of Paloma, Blaise, and Brooke Pascoe; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will mourn his passing. Mr. Pascoe was a graduate of Charleroi High School (1964) and a U.S. Army veteran. He was a steel worker out of High School. He went on to graduate from the Weaver Airline School in Kansas City. He started his airline career with Allegheny Airline in 1969, retiring from U.S. Airway. He was elected and served on Council in Carnegie, PA, and was elected and served as Mayor from 2002-2007. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Shallenberger and Marie Ward. Harry was an active member of the Pleasant Hills Lion's Club, an avid golfer, bowler, coin collector, gardener, and Pittsburgh sports fan. Harry is a US Navy veteran of WWII who served in the Pacific Theater as Yeoman, 3rd Class. Harry dedicated 41 years of service as a Chief Instrumentation Engineer with the Dravo Corporation. LINDA (MARASCO) GUIDO It is with great sadness that we announce that Linda, age 57, lost her courageous battle, surrounded by her immediate family, returned to her heavenly loved ones. Beloved wife of the late John; daughter of the late Frank and Virginia Marasco; loving mother of Maria Lynn Guido and Krista (David) Robbins; devoted sister of Damian (Nicoletta, Antonio, Gianna) Marasco, Lisa, and the late Francesco Marasco, Rocco (Kevin, Alan) Guido, Louis Guido, and family; chosen daughter, Laylal; granddaughter, Acacia Dupree; best friend Lisa Guzzi; fur babies Frankie, Bowie, and Vito Diva Loca. Linda was the most selfless and loving person who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Throughout Linda's 40 years of service to Giant Eagle, she was devoted and made many friends.The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to the Forbes Regional Nursing Staff for their loving care.
