Born in Harrisburg on December 11, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Josephine (Allen) Parham. A graduate of Seton Hill College, she resided in Oakmont with her husband, Leonard as owners and operators of the Leonard P. Burket Funeral Home, now Burket-Truby Funeral Home Cremation & Alternative Services, Inc. She will be remembered as nourishing family and friends with love, faith, and kindness. Beloved wife of the late Leonard P. Burket . She is survived by her daughters, Kathie (Bill) Gavrish and Ann Piccolino Gradnik; grandmother of Bill (Caron) Gavrish, Matthew (Melanie) Gavrish, Samantha Piccolino and Christopher Piccolino; great-grandmother of Madi, Makenna, Julia, and Maddox. She was a member of St. Irenaeus Catholic Church since 1952 and she was involved in many local organizations. She enjoyed playing bridge with her many friends. WATSON JACQUELINE R. Born November 5, 1955, passed peacefully on September 30, 2018 at UPMCEast Monroeville at the age of 62. She will join her mother, father, husband, brother and daughter in death. She is survived by three living children; 10 grandchildren; three brothers; three sisters; and a host of family and friends. She graduated Peabody High School in 1973 then proceeded to the U.S. Army in 1974. She was honorably discharged in 1976. She then worked at the VA Hospital as well as Allegheny Valley Hospital. Visitation will be held on Monday from 10-11 a.m., at Lighthouse Church, 810 Fisher St. Pgh., PA. A Funeral will follow visitation at 11 a.m., all family and friends are welcome to attend. CHARLTON NATHANIEL LYLE Of Churchill, age 24, died on Thursday, October 4, 2018. Father of Harmony and Melody Charlton; son of Lea Marie (Charlton) Hunt (husband, Coby) and Andre Nathanial Robinson; grandson of Diana Ruslander (late husband, John H. Ruslander) and Ronald (wife, Gloria) Charlton; brother of Jonathan Charlton and Maxwell Hunt. Nathanial was kind, loving, caring, giving, witty and intelligent. He was a graduate and star football player at Sheffield High School in Warren County and also studied and graduated from the culinary arts program at Arlene Lissner in Marienville. As a youngster, Nathanial was the "Rotary mascot" for the Penn Hills Rotary Club. He developed into an excellent athlete as he was blessed with natural athletic skills. Nathanial played baseball, basketball, football and golf and also was adept at skiing and snowboarding. Friends are welcome on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at PATRICK T. DUFFY RICHARD A. On Friday, October 5, 2018, Richard Duffy, 68, of Ross Twp., lost his courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Linda (Brei); sons, Kevin and Steven; and brother Ronald (Linda) Duffy of Florida. He was the son of the late Angus and Helen (Doerzbacher) Duffy of Brookline and brother of the late Charles Duffy of Florida. Rich was previously employed by The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, Monro Muffler/Brake & Service, and Pittsburgh Transportation Group Charter Services, Inc. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, cooking, watching sports, and spending time with his cherished family and dear friends. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and always trying to put a smile on someone's face. PERKINS JON ANTHONY CHRISTOPHER Jon Anthony Christopher Perkins 1952 - 2018. Jon Perkins died early Thursday morning, October 5, 2018 at Mount Lebanon Family Hospice on Moffet Street where he received attentive and compassionate care. Close family members and friends present throughout Jon's illnesses were at the lip of his stage during his last days playing music, recollecting memories and storylines, and embracing him through many other tender and poignant expressions of love. LIBROTH SAMUEL C. Age 85, of Harwick, passed away Saturday, October 6, 2018 in UPMC St. Margaret Hospital. He was the son of the late Samuel and Rose Pillitteri Libroth and was a lifelong resident of the community. After High School, Sam served his country in The U.S. Army where he was honorably discharged. Sam graduated from Springdale High School, class of '51 as well as The University of Pittsburgh and later worked for Westinghouse in Monroville where he eventually retired after 39 years of service. He enjoyed golfing with his friends, playing softball, gardening and watching college sports on television. Sam belonged to The Allegheny Valley Fire Dept. and The Springdale VFW. Surviving him are: beloved wife of 62 years, Dorothy Mrakich Libroth; daughter, Janice (Neal) Ciorra of Apollo; sister, Josephine Libroth of Springdale; brother, John Libroth of FL.; grandchildren, Mark (Kelly) Ciorra of Cranberry and Jeffrey Ciorra of Apollo; two greatgrandchildren,Reagan Miksch and Geno Ciorra; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was also preceded by a granddaughter, Jennie Ciorra in 1998. His family will receive friends on Monday October 8th, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in THE CHARLES B. MOSLEN MICHAEL R. Age 74, of Carnegie, on Saturday, October 6, 2018. Loving husband of 60 years to the late Audrey Jean Shaffer; father of Margaret (Ken Savage) Shaffer, Ronald Shaffer, and the late Thomas Shaffer; brother of Gary (Shirley) Shaffer, and the late Carol (Paul) Matthews; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Son of his late parents, Carl and Margaret Shaffer. James served his country in the United States Army. He worked for some 30 years on the B & O Railroad.
