CARPETA RUTH E. Age 82, of Finleyville, died Saturday, April 18, 2015, at the Residence at Hilltop Care Center in Carroll Township surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 2, 1932, in Finleyville, a daughter of Howard and Mary Fabian England. Mrs. Carpeta was a homemaker who enjoyed playing bingo and was a member of the Mingo Ladies and Thursday Ladies card clubs. Surviving are her son, Charles W. Carpeta and his wife, Mary Ellen of Bradenton, FL; two daughters, Nancy Pietroforte and her husband, Frank and Sharon West and her husband, Gregg of Monongahela; a sister, Lorraine Bunny Brewer of Bunola; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Deceased are her husband, Charles C. Carpeta, who died in March of 2006 and a brother, Harry England. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at KEGEL FUNERAL HOME, INC., Tim P. Kegel, supervisor, David P. Kegel, director, 3560 Washington Avenue in Finleyville. Funeral services will be private.
