KAMINSKI DOROTHY (ZAPOLSKI) On Friday, November 7, 2014, after a long illness, Dorothy (Zapolski) Kaminski passed peacefully in her sleep. Dorothy was 91. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thaddeus (Ted) S. Kaminski; sister, Antoinette Lapitski; and daughter-in-law, Susanne (Bertges) Kaminski. Dorothy was born and raised on Polish Hill, then moved to Shaler Township where she was a longtime resident before moving to California with her daughter and son-in-law. Her surviving family includes son, Robert (Marcy) Kaminski; daughter, Roberta (Andrew) Dyakon; grandchildren, Kathleen (Michael) DiNardo, Karol (Marc) Weller, Andrew (Detra) Dyakon, Douglas Dyakon; and seven great-grandchildren. A memorial mass at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church on Polish Hill is planned for a later date. Send condolences post-gazette.com/gb
