GRAY JOHN THOMAS Age 83, of Oakmont, formerly of Plum, passed away Friday, August 4, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Mary L. Gray; loving father of Dianne (Domenick) Carroll, John T. (Ellen) Gray, Jr., William E. (Sandy) Gray, Judy (Gary) Childs of VA, Robert A. (Rose) Gray, Frank (Cyndee) Gray, Edward J. (Patty) Gray, Timothy S. (Juanita) Gray, and Vera Lee Moore; brother of James E. (Eleanor) of FL; and brother-in-law of Louise Herring; grandfather of 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. John was a 60-year member of Steamfitters #449 and a life member of the Marine Corps League. Also a member of the Military Order of Devil Dogs. John's proudest accomplishments were being a loving husband, father, Pappy, Steamfitter, and a Sergeant in the Marine Corps. Friends will be received Wednesday, August 9, 2017, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 378 Maryland Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. in St. Irenaeus Catholic Church, Oakmont. Everyone please meet at the church.
