WATKINSON LETITIA "JANE" (MONTGOMERY) Age 88, of Bethel Park, formerly of Monongahela, on August 3, 2017, of pancreatic cancer. Beloved wife of the late George E. Watkinson for 56 years; loving mother of Amy (Terry) Bilkey and Jane (Ron) Thompson; doting grandmother of dearly loved granddaughters, Catherine and Jocelyn Bilkey; dear sister of Sandra Hernandez. Also survived by two special friends who cared deeply and kindly for her in recent years: Ellie "423" Fox and Julie "Flamingo" Valentine. Preceded in death by her parents, Fred W. and Edna Marina (Shenkle) Montgomery; and both brothers, Fred W. and James T. C. Montgomery. Jane found joy in every day, made every stranger into a friend, and loved everyone and everything -- except for her given name "Letitia". She graduated from Springdale High School and Thiel College; she then worked as an executive secretary for Koppers in Pittsburgh. Jane was well known for her musical talents, particularly as a wedding soloist and a skilled pianist. She and George shared a deep love of music (especially opera), travel and dancing. At Jane's request, there will be no visitation or service; burial will be private.
