CATTLEY DALE MARIE (ICE) Daughter of the late Bessie and Dewey Ice; and wife of the late Louis A. Cattley; dear mother of David L. (Mary) Cattley of Moon Twp., Robert (Leesa) Cattley of The Colony, TX, and James Cattley of Pittsburgh; sister of Betty Hoye, Nancy Toothman, Jo Bereksazi, Alma (Nathan) Taff, Kay Leeson, and the late Daniel, Robert and Bert Ice; also survived by three granddaughters; three grandsons; two great-granddaughters; and three great-grandsons. Mrs. Cattley was a WWII Veteran, having served in the Army Nurse Corps and spent many months in the Philippine Islands. She was a University of Pittsburgh Alumna, past president of the American Nurses Association, a member of Emmanuel's Lutheran Church in Bellevue, past Worthy Matron of #85 O.E.S. and a member of North Hills Chapter #526 O.E.S. Friends will be received on Thursday, April 20, 2017, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the MCDONALD-LINN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICE, LLC., 529 California Ave., Avalon, where funeral services will be held on Friday, 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. FANNING JOAN W. (McNAMARA) Age 86, of Mt. Lebanon, peacefully went to our Lord on Friday, April 7, 2017 with her loving family by her side. Beloved wife (55 years) of the late James B. Fanning; mother of James T. Fanning, of Atlanta, GA., John J. (Beth) Fanning, of Mt. Lebanon, Kathleen (Robert) Banks, of Wexford, and Patricia M. (Ronald) Iarussi, of Tinton Falls, NJ; loving grandmother of James (Kristen) Fanning, Lindsay (Randy) Gasior, Goddaughter Meredith (Anthony) Gayed, Joseph and John Fanning, Rebecca (Allen) Brindle, Rachael and Madalyn Banks, Katelyn Fanning; and nine great-grandchildren; loving sister of Jean Schmutz of Long Island, NY, and the late Jane Bowler of North Carolina. Joan grew-up on Long Island, NY where she attended Adelphi University as a student athlete, graduating with her early childhood teaching degree. She taught pre-school for 14 years at St. Paul's Episcopal Pre-School and took a great interest in watching her students mature over the years. Joan was very devoted to St. Bernard's Catholic Church. She was a daily communicant and an active member of the Altar Society, Women's Rosary making group, Meals-on-Wheels, supporter of The Little Sisters of the Poor (Pgh.) and over-seas Catholic Missions for over 50 years. Joan loved to travel abroad to Ireland, Israel, Egypt, Canada, and China. Joan inspired her devout Catholic faith with everyone she came in contact with, leaving an ever-lasting impression of Jesus' love. The Fanning family wants to send a special thank you to all the loving caregivers of Marion Manor who meant so much to all of us, and to Joan. In lieu of flowers, we ask that a contribution be made to "Friends of St. Bernard's School Fund" in her memory. There will be no viewing. McCORMLEY WILLIAM M. Age 89, of Elizabeth Twp. and formerly of Clairton, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2017, in the Center for Compassionate Care in Mt. Lebanon. Born August 5, 1927, in Clairton, he was a son of the late Joseph and Katherine (Flynn) McCormley. William retired as a warehouse manager, and was a former chemist, for Hercules in West Elizabeth, a US Air Force veteran, and was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish in Clairton, where he was a Eucharistic Minister there and at Jefferson Hospital. William was extremely active in Clairton, earning the city's Citizen of the Year award in 2006 and the Mon Valley Initiative Citizen of the Year in 1985. He was active with youth sports, serving as president of the Clairton Little League, coaching St. Paulinus CYO Basketball, and coached various levels of baseball in Mt. Vernon, Elizabeth, Clairton, and Dravosburg for over 30 years. In civics, William was the past president of the Wilson Civic Association, a member of the Clairton Crime Watch Committee, organized a new Crime Watch Program for Wilson, was the founder and CEO of the Clairton Recycling Center, a member of the Economic Development Corporation of Clairton, was the Clariton representative for the Steel Valley Authority. He also was a member of the AARP 612 in Wilson, an organizer of the Hercules/ Picco Retirees Association, Citizen Advisory Panel for Kopper's, Inc., Co-Chair of the Planning Commission, member of the Vacant Property Recovery Committee, and a longtime member of the Clairton Lions Club. William is survived by his wife, Marlyn (Phillips) McCormley; his daughter, Kim (Jaime) Thomas of Elizabeth; his son, Terry (Angel) McCormley of Dravosburg; his grandchildren, Patrick (Donna) Finnegan, Shawn Finnegan, Chris Thomas, Michael (Kayla) McCormley, Kevin (Lindsey) McCormley; his great- grandchildren, Allanah, Braden, Will, Victoria, and Wyatt; his brothers, Joseph McCormley of Whitehall and Dr. Donald (Thelma) McCormley of Jefferson Hills; his stepchildren, Kristen (Keith) Curran and Susan (Steve) Large, both of Elizabeth Twp.; his step-grandchildren, Samantha and Carlyn Large, Amanda Curran, and Ariane and Emily Autore; and also nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, William was preceded in death by his first wife, Catherine (Kennet) McCormley; his daughter, Colleen McCormley; and his brother, Dr. Robert McCormley. DOMHOFF RICHARD D. “DICK” Age 84, of Shaler Township, returned home to be with his heavenly father on Wednesday, April 12, 2017. He was born on March 1, 1933, in Wheeling, West Virginia to the late Edward and Alfreda Hart Domhoff. He was the devoted husband of Romelda "Roni" Mancinelli Domhoff for 59 years; beloved father of Deb Rusteberg (Greg), of Chicago, IL, Rick Domhoff (Natalie) of Wexford, PA; cherished brother of the late Edward and Norman Domhoff (Lois); much-loved grandfather of Leslie Mabry (Dallas); treasured great-grandfather of Elle and Dallas James Mabry. Richard was an Army veteran and retired from H.J. Heinz after a 33-year career. He was a loyal Pittsburgh sports fan, with an extraordinary love for baseball as a player and fan. He enjoyed gardening, cooking, fishing, playing cards and loved to test his luck at the slots. There wasn't anything he couldn't fix hence his nickname "Magic". Beyond these interests, his ultimate passions were his family and caring for others. He was a friend to everyone, the life of the party, and will be dearly missed. SCHRAEDER WILLIAM J. Resident of Munhall all his life, William passed away peacefully into the arms of his Savior on Good Friday morning, April 14, 2017, at the age of 76. He was a born again Christian who received Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. Born on January 8, 1941, he was the beloved son of the late William and Mary Schraeder. Survived by his sister-in-law and caretaker, Terry Schraeder; beloved great-uncle of Sara and Cameron Cramer; cousin of Mary Jane and Bob Oster and family, Joey and Joanie Rubinchak, Ray Rubinchak and family in Virginia, Albert Rubinchak and family in Plum Boro and an aunt, Relda Rubinchak and family in Bermuda. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert Schraeder; and his only niece, Leeann Cramer. William worked for Westinghouse Research and Development as an electrician in Churchill Boro from 1974 and retired in 1996. He was a Military Police in the Army during the Vietnam Era. He was an operator of Ham radios and also was on air at WAMO Radio; friend of the late Porky Chedwick. William was a music aficionado and a train enthusiast. He loved to go with his friends to Dayton, Ohio for flea markets. He loved to cook and also loved to eat! He was very generous with the giving of his time to family, friends and neighbors who needed help with electrical situations or problems. He loved dogs dearly, and sadly lost his best pal, Penny, a year ago. Her cremains will be buried with him. William had many friends in a variety of areas and he will be greatly missed. WAGNER NICHOLAS GEORGE Age 78, of Murrells Inlet, SC, formerly of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2017. Preceded in death by parents, Nicholas and Mary (Reed) Wagner; wife, Barbara (Formosa); and sister, Patty. Survived by daughters, Kimberly (Dana) DePaolo, Kelly (Kevin) McHugh; grandchildren, Nicholas (Emily), Jon, Kelsey (Ricky), Bailey, Donovan; and great-grandchildren, Kaylin, Mia; sisters, Joyce, Sandy, and Sue. Wife, Marcia (Bain), stepchildren and grandchildren, Greg (Brandi), Michelle (Rich) Abby, Emily, Logan, Alex, Sean. Nicholas served in the Navy and retired from the City of Pittsburgh Police force after serving 27 years. He then chose to return to the workforce as a Commander with The Pittsburgh Public School Police. He served his country, community and family with much pride and honor and will be missed by all that knew him. Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 9 a.m. at the Ascension Worship Site of St. Philip Church, Ingram, PA followed by inurnment in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with full military honors. Donations may be made in his honor to the Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge #1, 1428 Banksville Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15216 or the Wounded Warrior Project. Arrangements entrusted to ANTHONY G.
