"Mae" Wiatrowski; father of Kathleen (Charles) DiPietro, Joseph Wiatrowski and Teresa (Marc) Balsam; grandfather of Brian, Matthew, Natalie, Timothy and Corey DiPietro, Sarah (Timothy) Heisey, Joseph Wiatrowski, Jr., Amy (Richard) Smith, Michael Wiatrowski, Caitlin (James) Vamossy, Tyler and Kelsie Balsam; also nine great-grandchildren; brother of the late Stanley, Walter, Chester and Jan Wiatrowski; also survived by nieces and nephews. Ziggy was a U.S. Army veteran, a crane operator for U.S. Steel National Tube and a devoted and active member of St. Elizabeth Church. TRIMBATH DONALD L., Sr. Age 89, of Pleasant Hills, formerly of Auburn, CA and West Mifflin, passed peacefully on Saturday, September 19, 2015. Husband of the late Martha (Makowka) Trimbath and Doris (Hall) Trimbath; beloved father of William (Karen), Leroy (Gail) and Tom Trimbath; loving grandfather of Anna (John) Strasser, Kate (Kevin) Kenny, Roger Trimbath and Will (Sarah) Trimbath; great-grandfather of Abbie and Brinley; son of the late Arthur L. and Mary Frances (Hopkinson) Trimbath; brother of Bettye Nosenzo, Dorothy (Cliff) Gamble and the late Frances Phillians and Ruth Ball; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Don spent his professional career in the petroleum industry, working for the Gulf Oil Corp., R & W Oil and the Guttman Group. He served as National Vice President of the American Merchant Marines Veterans, President of the Mon Valley Chapter of the American Merchant Marine Veterans, a founding member of the West Mifflin Ambulance Service, and sat on the Board of Directors for the West Mifflin Municipal Sanitary Authority. He loved traveling and golfing, especially with his "Tuesday Golfing Buddies" during his time in Auburn, CA. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Allegheny Health Hospice, West Penn Hospital Tower 8, and Atria South Hills for their compassionate and loving care of Don, especially Kristin and Mary Beth. Visitation will be held Wednesday 2-8 p.m. at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. A Westminster College and Wharton graduate, Jim spent several years in municipal government before joining Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott in 1979. He oversaw unprecedented growth at the firm in his 35 years as Executive Director. Jim's boundless generosity and penchant for fun were known by many, and he will be greatly missed. Beloved husband of 55 years to the late Constance “Connie” McKeever; loving father of Maureen McKeever of Wilkins, Michael (Kathy) McKeever of Lancaster, PA and Matthew (Donna) McKeever of South Hadley, MA; grandfather of Seth, Hope, Nathan, Joshua and Ethan McKeever; son of the late Michael Raymond and Anna McKeever; brother of the late Ruth McKeever and Mary J. “Dolly” Rudolph; brother- in-law of George Rudolph. Raymond graduated from McKeesport High School in 1943, turning down a Governor's Scholarship to enlist in the US Navy, serving as Fireman First Class on the USS Chicago and witnessing the Japanese Surrender in Tokyo Bay. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1950, worked for Westinghouse Research for 35 years, then became one of the first docents at the Frick Art and Historical Center, and gave school history lessons with Portable Pittsburgh. Raymond was an Indian Guide Leader and Scoutmaster of BSA Troop 402 and involved with the county Rock Garden Society, a volunteer for Meals On Wheels. He was active in his church as a lector and with Marriage prep. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Foundation or your local food bank. GRIGGLE HELEN F. Age 96, widow of Brownie B. Griggle of Pittsburgh, PA and Madison, CT, passed away on September 17, 2015, at Connecticut Hospice after a brief illness with family by her side. Helen was born on May 19, 1919, in Avella, PA to Barbara and Frank Koltick who previously resided in Avella before settling in Pittsburgh. Helen cherished time spent with her family. In addition to raising their children, she worked at various jobs during her lifetime and loved to buy and sell antiques. She had a loving heart and a good sense of humor, and was always interested in trying new things. Helen especially enjoyed exercising and square dancing. She will be most remembered for the love and support she provided for her family. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara and her husband, Herb Dalo, of Madison, CT; by her five grandchildren, Melissa Dalo, of Madison, CT, Bonnie, Bruce and Beth Bock and Brandy Bock Tott, of Sewickley, PA; and her great- grandchild, Joshua Wolfson. Helen was predeceased by her daughter, Kathleen Bock and her husband, William Bock; and her brothers, Joseph, Andrew and John Koltick. The family would like to express their deep gratitude to Connecticut Hospice for their wonderful care during her final illness. Funeral Services and burial will be private on September 22, 2015.
