LOPATTA RICHARD DICK JOSEPH Age 80, of Pitcairn, died Wednesday, December 17, 2014, peacefully at his home. He was born December 21, 1933, in Trafford. Richard is a veteran of the Korean War, where he served his country with pride. He will forever be remembered by his devoted wife and best friend, Marie H. SHIFF NANCY ANN (SNOWDEN) Age 84, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 14, 2014. Nancy was the beloved wife for 54 years of Ted Shiff. Surviving are three children and 11 grandchildren. She always was a teacher, beginning with kindergarten and then led the visually handicapped program in Beaver Valley. Later, she taught in our church and community bible classes, plus led our family and other families in any way possible. She always offered to help anyone at any time. Mom, grandma, Nancy, aunt.....Thank you! If we were to write about your life and all its goodness this entire newspaper would be filled with stories of you and its other contents would pale in significance.
