BUSH DONALD L. Age 82 of Plum, on Monday, December 15, 2014. Beloved husband for 57 years of Vel (Havranek) Bush; loving father of late son, Jeffrey Alan Bush; son of the late LeRoy and Muriel Bush; brother of the late Edith Hobert; stepbrother of Michelle Fettis; brother-in-law of John Havranek of New York; also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Don worked for First Energy (Allegheny Power, Greensburg office) as a computer systems analyst. He had a great sense of humor. He loved dogs and enjoyed many hobbies. He was a member of the Pittsburgh Antique Bottle Club and belonged to several golf and bowling leagues, once bowling a 300 game, and enjoyed square dancing, Bingo, metal detecting, collecting antique cars and going to car shows. Don proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at MAURICE L. KNEE, LTD. HESS HAROLD JENNINGS “RED” Age 86, of Bridgeville, on December 14, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Ruby (Wable) Hess; loving father of Janet Hess, Harold E. (Kathy) Hess and Stephan (Mallory) Hess; grandfather of Michelle “Shelly”, Michael, Morgan and Mitchel Hess; brother of Merle Reed, Helen Bolen and the late Denzil, William and Carl Hess. A veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Army and a member of Mt. Lebanon Christian Church since 1960. Harold was a retired corporate accountant and prepared tax returns for over 30 years. He was very faithful in attending his grandchildren's activities and was a great handyman. DURMIS ROSEMARY P. (PEREVUZNIK) Of North Huntingdon, age 69, peacefully on Sunday, December 14, 2014, with her family present. Beloved wife of Dennis G. Durmis for 49 years; loving mother of Dennis (Sheila) Durmis, Cindy (Angelo) Bonacci, all of North Huntingdon, and Jeff Durmis of Elizabeth Twp.; dear grandmother of Natalie, Christine and Anna Durmis and Kayla Bonacci; sister of Robert (Cathy) Perevuznik of Monroeville and the late George Perevuznik; daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Stagon) Perevuznik; also survived by nieces and nephews. Rosemary's passion in life was being a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She possessed a deep and caring concern for all her family and friends. Even while in the hospital these recent days, she was more worried about others than herself and never complained about her condition. ROESMER JOSEF On Sunday, December 14, 2014, Dr. Josef Roesmer, age 86, of South Park. Beloved husband of Alice E. (Clarke) Roesmer; father of the late Christopher J. Roesmer; brother of the late Sister M. Hiltraud, OP. Josef was a nuclear chemist for Westinghouse for 27 years and wrote many research papers and patent disclosures. He was a member of the American Chemical Society, was in the Who's Who in science and engineering and was a lifetime member of the Teutonia Mannerchor Club in the North Side. Josef was an avid stamp collector with stamps from all over the world and was a POW in the German Navy. There will be no visitation. DONALDSON JOHN W. "RED" On Monday, December 15, 2014, age 90, formerly of Middlesex Twp., Valencia. Born in Callery, PA on April 3, 1924, he was the son of the late Richard E. and Florence M. Monahan Donaldson. Red had been a Machine Shop Superintendant for Heppenstall Company in Pittsburgh for 33 years and later worked as a clerk for Pfeifer Hardware in Mars until he was age 83 and enjoyed interacting with customers and co-workers. He loved his family dearly and especially enjoyed his great-grandchildren who made him laugh and smile everytime he saw them. He also enjoyed golfing with his son. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown, the Corinthean Lodge #573 in Pittsburgh and the Syria Temple and Consistory. Red had been a Staff Sgt. in the U.S. Army during World War II. Surviving is his son, John W. Donaldson, II and his wife, Betty, of Freedom; his grandchildren, Justin Donaldson and his wife, Denise and Adam Donaldson and his wife, Jenny; and his great-grandchildren, Teresa Ann, Isaac Marcus, Abby Lynn and Luke Adam. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 65 years, Violet M. Wolfarth Donaldson, who he married on November 17, 1945 and who died on June 14, 2011; and his siblings, George, James, Florence and Richard. DORICICH FLORIAN "MITCH" Age 83, of Bethel Park, formerly of Bessemer, PA, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2014. Son of the late Matt and Mary Doricich of Bessemer; beloved husband of Sandra (Bryan) Doricich; loving father of Mitchell (Tracy) Doricich and Dayna (Patrick Jackson) Doricich; cherished and proud grandfather of Eric and Emma; brother of Mary Ann (the late Carl) Ohlin. Florian was a dedicated parishioner of St. Valentine's Catholic Church and enjoyed meeting friends and taking his grandson to Eat'n Park for breakfast. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and had many interesting stories while stationed in Ft. Huachuca, AZ. Mastering the skill of Morse code was a favorite topic. Throughout his life, he was an accomplished accordion player, most notably from the Steve Garchar Band and their radio show in Youngstown, OH, to the Henry Lavrich Orchestra and their acclaimed album "Polka Sounds" in 1968, of which he wrote the "Parkside Polka." A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, he retired from Duquesne Light Company as an Electrical Engineer after 35 years of service. Florian was at his happiest when in the company of his family, and enjoyed visiting and traveling. Family and friends will be received Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the DAVID J.
