ALLEMANG WILLIAM E., Jr. Age 89, of Bethel Park, entered eternal life on May 9, 2014, at the Kane Nursing Home, Scott Twp. He was born October 20, 1924, in Pittsburgh to the late William and Pauline (Sigel) Allemang, Sr.; beloved husband of the late Bernadette; loving father of Karen (Raymond) Kosmach of Ohio, William (Teresa) Allemang III of Punxsutawney and Brian (Janice) Allemang of Bethel Park; six grandchildren, Tonya Briggs, Brooke Wozniak, Mary Kundrat, Marc, John and Michelle Allemang; also survived by ten great-grandchildren. EVANS SCOTT AUGUST Age 67, of Superstition Mountain, Arizona, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, peacefully passed away on May 1, 2014. He was a graduate of John Carroll University. Scott served on active duty in Vietnam as a WO4 and another 18 years with the National Guard and Army Reserves. He worked for 3M for 35 years finishing his career as director of sales. After retirement, he volunteered at the VA hospital in Mesa, Arizona. He loved his wife, family, country, golf, Harley, old cars, traveling and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Terri Evans; daughter, Heather Krehlik and husband Chad of Latrobe, PA; son, Jason Evans and wife Joy of Cornelius, NC; mother, Geraldine Evans of South Hills, PA; brother, David Evans and wife Jan; nephews, Mike and Matt of New Castle, PA; four beautiful grandchildren who adored him, Aiden, Maya, Sophia and Ava; cousins; and numerous fantastic friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Evans. His fun-loving way of life, wisdom and humor will be dearly missed and cherished! A memorial Mass with be held at St. Joan of Arc Church in South Park, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, May 17, 2014, at 2 p.m. Celebration immediately following. The inurnment will be in Arlington National Cemetery, in Arlington, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society or Wounded Warrior Project. UNGER KENNETH E. Age 86, passed away unexpectedly after an extended illness on Friday, May 2, 2014. Ken was born in Crafton, PA, and lived in Whitehall. He was an accomplished artist/painter who worked at GRS & W Design and later Exhibitgroup Giltspur Pittsburgh, where his largest account was VW, his car of choice. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, a gardener, an avid bowler, and a fan of all Pittsburgh professional sports teams. He enjoyed several memorable vacations with Pat (Patricia G. Unger), his late wife of almost 60 years, in one of their favorite spots on earth, Maui, HI. Ken was a man of few words but, without question, a man who always cared deeply for his family. He is survived by his loving daughters, Lauren S. (John) Vause of Louisville, KY and Leslie S. Unger of Berlin, Germany; and his three grandsons, Marino Cole Unger-Verna, Aaron Gibson and Matthew Steward Vause. No visitation. A Memorial Service will be held at a future time, to be announced. MURRAY MARY E. (DOWNER) On Thursday, May 8, 2014, after a long and wonderful life of 94 years, Mary Emma Murray, of Monroeville, passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was born on November 27, 1919, in Pittsburgh, daughter of William Downer, and Kathryn Johnston. She went on to a long career at Compunetics and was very active in her church, Good Shepherd Lutheran. She was the beloved wife of Paul R. Murray and is survived by son, David R. Zehr of Palm Harbor, Florida and daughters, Gail J. Kron of Plum and Karen L. Jersey of Oakmont. She is also survived by six grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren and two great- great-grandchildren on the way. She was preceded in death by son, Gerald C. Zehr of McKeesport; sisters, Thelma Wilcox of Alanport, Dorothy Sezawich of Charleroi and brother, Raymond Downer of Bradenton, Florida. BELL JOHN LEWIS John Lewis Bell passed away April 16, 2014, at age 91, with his wife at his side. He was born August 17, 1922, in Elkins, West Virginia and was a lifetime resident of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. John graduated from Oliver High School and Wisconsin University. He worked 47 years for Pittsburgh National Bank and retired as Vice President of Audit. He enjoyed playing guitar professionally all around the Pittsburgh area and performed into his eighties with the Brighton Entertainers. John is survived by his wife of 67 years, Rita E. Bell; sons, Thomas J. Bell (Eva), Robert N. Bell (Robin); grandchildren, Shannon M. Kirby, Courtney K. Bell, Emily Wold (Burton), Jordan Bell, Kaitlin A. Battles (Nathan); and great-grandchildren, Sydney, Madison, Sean, Zachary, Brayden, Ruth, Reese, and Bo. A Service for John will be held on Monday, May 19, 2014, at 11:30 a.m. in Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery in the Lower Chapel Resurrection, 204 Cemetery Lane, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
