JUDY WALLACE 4/10/1926 - 11/11/2019 Judy Marie Wallace, formerly Judit Klinga, passed from this life at age 93. She is survived by her three children, Kathy of Verona, PA, Tom of Ft. Myers, FL, and Ken of Union Bridge, MD; granddaughter, Julia; and daughters-in-law, Candy and Becky. She was predeceased by her husband, Don Wallace; and sister, Maria Bistey. A WWII refugee, she emigrated from Miskolc, Hungary to the USA at age 18, living first in Boston, then Cleveland. Judy married and raised three children in Novelty, OH. She worked primarily as an administrator at Highland View Hospital, and later as an enthusiastic usher at the Playhouse Square Theaters. She eventually moved to Pittsburgh, and received care at Harbour Senior Living South Hills. She recognized and was appreciative of the good in life, and was a devout follower. Principled, loyal, and hard-working, she led an exemplary life. Her autobiography, “Unplanned Journey” chronicles part of her life. Services private. JOHN H. RUSNAK Age 59, of Bethel Park, died Friday, November 15, 2019 in St. Clair Hospital. Born December 20, 1959 in Port Vue, he was the son of Henry W. and Mary Ann (Bechtold) Rusnak. A graduate of South Allegheny High School, John graduated Cum Laude from Point Park University with a degree in Business. He began working for the Bank of N.Y. Mellon (formerly Mellon Bank) in Pittsburgh in 1980 where he continued working as a manager until becoming ill. Surviving are his beloved wife, Patricia "Patty" (Urban) Rusnak who he married January 15, 1993; three sisters, Bernadette (Robert) Holzer of Tionesta; Bridget Levdansky of Port Vue and Marie Moore of Glassport; nephew, Bryan and nieces, Katrina and Kris. Preceding him in death was a brother, Joseph Levdansky and a sister, Barbara Ann Rusnak who died as an infant. Friends will be received from 9-10 a.m. Tuesday, November 19th in St. Thomas More Church, 1000 Oxford Dr., Bethel Park, 15102 with a Mass of Christian burial beginning at 10 a.m. with Fr. Shelia had been an executive assistant at Boyce Community College prior to her retirement. She belonged to a card club and the Bowlers-N-Nat Bowling League. BERTHA J. (KOCAY) KRAWCZYK Of Edgewood, formerly of Crafton Heights, age 99, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 15, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Walter F. "Carty" Krawczyk; loving mother of Carol J. (John) Vojtko of Edgewood and Walter F. (Lydia) Krawczyk of North Easton, MA; cherished grandmother of 11; and great-grandmother of nine. Preceded in death by her siblings, Joe, Andy, Stella, Nellie, Sophie, Frank, and Eddie. Bertha was proud to say that she was the first member of her family to receive a high school diploma from Stowe High School. She then went on to Business Training College, where she received credits for a Secretarial Course in 1938. Bertha met her soul mate, Carty, at a West View Park dance, prior to him departing for WWII. She loved attending various dances at Kennywood Park. Bertha enjoyed spending time with Carty on Gateway Clipper Cruises and would attend the Seven Springs Polka Festival twice each year. She would volunteer at the West End Senior Center, and was awarded a certificate in 1993 from former Mayor Sophie Masloff for her service. Most of all Bertha was a devout Catholic, who cared dearly for her loving family. Friends welcome Tuesday from 2- 4 and 6-8 p.m. at PATRICK T. MONICA VENT Age 77, of the North Hills, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2019, at Vincentian Home after a courageous battle with Parkinson's. She was the beloved wife of Karl Vent. Monica was born in Uniontown, PA on January 6, 1942, and grew up there. She was the daughter of the late John and Frances Tajc. Monica attended St. Johns High School and graduated from St. Joseph's School of Nursing in Pittsburgh, PA. Besides her husband, Monica leaves her daughter, Kristine (husband, Troy Leonard); son, Derek (wife, Michelle); and five grandchildren, Evan Vent, Luke Leonard, Ryan Vent, Adam Leonard, and Gabrielle Vent. Monica also leaves behind her brothers, Ray (Kathleen), Lawrence (Mary), Richard (Debra), and Ronald (Carol); and sister, Therese; as well as several nieces and nephews. Monica enjoyed gardening, doing crafts, and was a exceptional seamstress, besides working as a Registered Nurse. She enjoyed and cherished her grandchildren.
