LOMBARDO MARIE E. "MIMI" 84, Vernon Twp., died Sunday, July 14, 2013 at Marquette Hospice House in Meadville. Marie was born in Pittsburgh, August 29, 1928, daughter of the late George and Clara Santillo. She married Amadeo Lombardo, in Pittsburgh, June 7, 1947, after serving during WWII. Marie was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and a cook. Marie and her husband raised two sons and a daughter first in Pittsburgh and then Rochester, NY. She and her husband also lived in Las Vegas, NV. They moved to the Meadville area in 2006. Surviving are husband, Amadeo, who cared for her during her decline from Alzheimer's Disease; son, Tom Lombardo (Hope); daughter, Amy Lombardo (Darel); son, Michael Lombardo (Netty); brother, Don Santillo (Lois); sisters, Ann DeAngelis and Laverne Barrasso (Carmen); grandchildren, Michelle Arbogast (Jeffrey), Jeffrey Kuklinski (Lisa), Robert Kuklinski, Alyssa Lombardo, Lucia Lombardo, Sam Lombardo, Pinta Marie "Mimi" Lombardo; and great- grandchildren, Gannon Arbogast, and Lydia Joy Kuklinski. Her sister Carmella Roy Kearsley, preceded her in death. She is also survived by 19 nieces and nephews. Marie passed her love of reading to all of her children and grandchildren.
