PAUL J. TRIPOLI, LCSW, LPC, CAD, CIE BCD Age 58, of Washington, died tragically Saturday, August 17, 2019 due to a motorcycle accident with beloved wife, Darla. He was born March 1, 1961 in Washington; a son of Dr. Charles and Rita Gabriel Tripoli of Washington. Paul was a great friend and counselor who helped many people in the area over the years from his offices in his home town of Washington. Paul received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology/English from the University of Pittsburgh and a Masters of Social Work from West Virginia University. He was an accomplished Clinician and Consultant with 27 years' experience. Paul was raised Roman Catholic in Washington. He later became a member of the Bible Chapel in McMurray and was an ordained minister with the Harmony Life Church in Washington. At the time of his death, he was employed with the United States Airforce as a Licensed Clinical Technician. On May 7, 1994, he married Darla Ann Butzine Tripoli who died August 17, 2019. Left behind to cherish his memory in addition to his parents are his beloved children, Jacob “Jake” Tripoli and Madison “Madi” Tripoli both of Washington; his two cherished grandsons, Jayden Michael O'Dell and Luca Paul Tripoli; brothers, James (Caroline), Louis (Michelle), Peter (Paola), John (Linda), Philip (Obed) and Anthony (Kim); sisters, Sarah (Shawn), Mary (Amy), Angela, Ada and Jennie; and former sister-in-law, Connie; nephews, Charles, Jon Michael, L. Philip, Juan Diego, William, Benjamin, Liam, Logan and Nathan; nieces, Tiara, Alexandra, Marissa, Domenique, Danielle, Natalia, Nyah and Rita; great-nephews, Bryan, Carson and Oliver; many aunts, uncles, and cousins and the family dog, Noel. DAVID PAUL KLASNICK Age 72, of Peters Township, formerly of Upper St. Clair and Dormont, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 20th surrounded by his family. Born in Pittsburgh on October 22, 1946, he was the oldest son of David and Mary. He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Nancy; his two sons, David (wife Christy) and Robert (wife Nicole); and his five treasured grandchildren, Jackson, Sawyer, Noelle, Sydney, and Tucker, who will all dearly miss their “Papa”. He is also survived by his brother, Tom, and his sister, Susan Lamperski (husband Brendan). After graduating from South Catholic High School in 1964, David attended University of Dayton, class of 1968, where he met Nancy. He was proud to serve his country as an officer in the United States Air Force from 1969-1972 and then started his career at Pittsburgh National Bank in 1972, where he worked for 46 years, leading PNC Wealth Management sales team, before retiring in 2018. A season ticket holder for both the Penguins and the Pirates, he loved following his Pittsburgh teams. Dave was an avid golfer and played at courses all across the country, but he especially loved playing at his home course, St. Clair Country Club. He also cherished vacation time spent with family over the past 10 years in Siesta Key, FL. Dave dedicated 40 years to improving and building youth hockey in Pittsburgh and across the country, after becoming involved through his sons playing the sport. He served as President of the Mt. Lebanon Hockey Association, GM of Team Pittsburgh for 15 years, and was on the Board of Directors at USA Hockey for the past 27 years. Dave's passion was the sport of baseball and his beloved Pirates. He played as a youth in Dormont, taught his sons and grandchildren the game, and helped coach 35 youth baseball teams over the course of his life. Dave had a strong faith and was a member of St. Louise de Marillac Parish for 45 years. He always generously gave back to his community, volunteering to serve on the Board of Directors of Extra Mile Education Foundation, Pittsburgh Penguin Foundation, Pittsburgh Technology Council, Leadership Pittsburgh, and as a member of the St. Louise de Marillac Church Alive committee. Dave's visitation will be held at BEINHAUERS, 2828 Washington Rd., McMurray, 724-941-3211 on Thursday, August 22nd from 4-8 p.m. and on Friday, August 23rd from 2-8 p.m. The Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, August 24th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Louise de Marillac Catholic Church, 320 McMurray Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15241. Beloved husband of Patricia (Thomas) (Taylor) Holmes; loving father of Dr. Thomas (Kim) Taylor of Arizona, Terrance (Linda) Taylor of Forest Hills, Timothy Holmes of Plum, Patrick "Brandon" Holmes of Plum, Eric Holmes of Forest Hills and Daric (Jacquelynn) Holmes of Seven Fields; cherished grandfather of 13 grandchildren and adored great-grandfather of six great-grandchildren; brother of Walter (Ethel) Holmes of Apollo. Mel was a 20 year veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving his country in both WWII and the Korean War, before retiring as Senior Chief. WILLIAM M. MITSCH Age 50, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 20, 2019, in Harrisburg, NC. formerly of Canonsburg and Ingram. Beloved husband of Pam (Pallette) Mitsch; dear father of Mya, Emily, and Eli Mitsch; brother of Chuck (Kathy), Ed (Alison), Steve (Nori) Mitsch and Joyce (Gary) Gibson; also survived by nieces and nephews. Son of the late Chuck and Elaine (Jungling) Mitsch. Bill was a graduate of WV Wesleyan and soon after, began his career as a Mechanical Engineer with Siemens where he was employed for 28 years. He had a passion for cars and a love of classic rock but nothing compared to the love he had for family. If Bill wasn't busy working with his hands, you could find him at the Hockey rink or at a Cheerleader competition, cheering for his children. His infectious laugh and caring heart will be missed by all who knew him.
