FICKTER DAVID WEST Age 80, of Haines City, Florida passed away Monday, April 20, 2015, at Good Shepherd Hospice House in Auburndale. He was born May 12, 1934, in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Charles and Theresa (Conner) Fickter. He had been a resident of the area for 22 years, coming from Waverly, Pennsylvania. He served in the United States Air Force. He started his career in Pittsburgh with State Farm and New York Life Insurance companies then worked for Mellon National Bank, now BNY Mellon and served as senior Vice President of Mortgage Services. He then moved to Northeastern Bank in Scranton, PA which was later purchased by PNC Bank from where he retired. He was of the Protestant Faith. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Nancy L. Fickter; sons, Charles W. Fickter and wife, Mimi of Pittsburgh, PA, Donald J. Fickter of Pittsburgh, PA; two grandchildren, Kettie and Kerbie.
