LYON JOHN W. John W. Lyon, age 67, a Crescent Township resident for 38 years, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2015, at Heritage Valley Sewickley. He was born in Wind Ridge, PA on Dec. 8, 1947, to the late Paul and Elaine (McKerrihan) Lyon. Beloved husband for 42 years to Jeanne (Dugan) Lyon; loving father of Julie of Wilmington, DC and Thomas Lyon (Helen) of Kennedy Township; cherished grandfather of Cabot and Tessa; brother of Paul F. Lyon, Jr. (Sharon) of Wind Ridge, PA. John was a steel worker at IPSCO Koppel and member of United Steel Workers of American #9305. John was a 1965 graduate of West Greene High School. John was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing and gardening. Memorial Visitation Thursday 7-8 p.m. at COPELAND'S MOON TOWNSHIP, 981 Brodhead Rd. Services private.
