RUZOMBERKA EDWARD Age 93, on Sunday, April 19, 2015, of Millvale. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth (Culbertson) Ruzomberka; loving father of Elizabeth Ruzomberka; brother of Frank (Leanor) Ruzomberka and the later Matthew, John and Ralph Ruzomberka, Eileen McDougal and Mildred Nichter; son of the late Matthew and Maria (Cupka) Ruzomberka. Ed was a US Navy veteran of WWII and Korea, a graduate of the University of Miami (Florida) where he played football for the Miami Hurricanes. He also played football for the Pittsburgh Steelers for the 1947 season. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, the SIGMA CHI fraternity, the Iron Arrow, the Elks, the VFW and the Masons. He was an owner, with his family, of the Grant Bar in Millvale until his retirement. Friends received Thursday 2-8 p.m. at the HEALY - HAHN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 512 Grant Avenue, Millvale, 412-821-2940. Funeral Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
