RAGGI EUGENE P. Age 88, of Slovan, PA, died Friday, April 17, 2015, in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 4, 1926, he was the son of the late Patsy and Ida Delfrate Raggi. On November 27, 1952, in Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Burgettstown, he married the love of his life, Erma Jean Mavrich. In 1973, he established Raggi Home Improvement Co. with sites in Washington, PA and Weirton, WV. Surviving in addition to his wife are his four children, Suzanne (Jim) Kelly, Eugene (Mary Beth) Raggi, both of Washington, Marybeth (Dr. Derek) Andreini of Wheeling, West Virginia, and Lisa (Lou) Comis of Weirton, West Virginia; and his sister, Enice (late Jack) Boyde of Steubenville, Ohio; also surviving are his grandchildren, Dr. James (Caroline) Kelly, Lauren (Andrew) Miller, Alysse Kelly, Dr. Eugene (Andrea) Raggi, Dominic and Adam Raggi, Madison and Derek Andreini, Dr. Leah, Lou and Ross Comis; and one great-granddaughter, Clara Kelly, with another grandchild on the way. He leaves many nieces and nephews that he cherished. Deceased are his sister, Eleanor (late John) Dvorsak; and his brother, William Raggi. Friends will be received from, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, April 20, 2015, and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2015, in the TAUCHER FUNERAL HOME, 23 Erie Mine Road, Burgettstown. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2015, in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Burgettstown with the Rev. Richard Tusky as celebrant. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with full military honors accorded by the Slovan-Burgettstown VFW. The Knights of Columbus will recite the rosary at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
