
AYOOB CHARLES JOSEPH 91, passed away Aug. 25, 2013, in Las Vegas. Born April 19, 1922, in the Lower Hill District of Pittsburgh, he was the youngest of eight children of Lebanese immigrants Joseph and Jennie (Romah) Ayoob. In 1973, his family moved to Las Vegas where he worked at the Dunes and Las Vegas Hilton. He is survived by his wife, Leanna (Lang) Ayoob, of Las Vegas, formerly of Millvale; and sons, Edward of Washington, D.C., and Salem, of Las Vegas; and was loving uncle to the late Genevieve (Ayoob) Willig, Joseph Ayoob, Anna Marie Ayoob, Anthony Ayoob, Andrew Ayoob, William Lang, Charles Lang, the late Steven Lang, Brian Lang, Cheri (Lang) Mitchell, Carrie (Lang) Alesantrino, Michael Lang, Maureen (Lang) Gregory, and Gregory Lang. Committal/interment service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7, at the chapel at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 718 Hazelwood Avenue, Pittsburgh (412-421-9959).
