EVANS F. ROBERT Formerly of Mt. Lebanon, PA, passed into the presence of The Lord on September 10, 2014. He was born on October 7, 1930, in Parkersburg, WV to Ernest E. and Vivian Evans. Bob married his high school sweetheart, Winifred Joan Waechter, on Christmas Day, 1930. He graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a degree in chemical engineering. Bob spent his 41 year career working for PPG Industries in the chemical division. He was a lifelong learner and enjoyed everything from making home improvements, woodworking, repairing cars, studying American history or his family's genealogy. He loved spending time in the beautiful state parks of West Virginia and traveling the world for his career and with his family. One of his greatest joys was taking his family to the beach. Bob loved serving The Lord and was always active in the churches he belonged to. He spent the last 10 years of his life living near family in Louisville, KY. Bob is survived by his loving wife, Winnie; brother, Gerald Evans of Parkersburg, WV; daughter, Jennifer (Andrew Wiegand) of Sylvania, OH; son, Tim (Susan Evans) of Louisville, KY; daughter, Julie of Louisville, KY; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
