CYNKAR HENRY S. Age 87, of Trafford, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 4, 2014, in the Woodhaven Care Center Monroeville. Henry was born on March 30, 1927, in Trafford, the son of the late Joseph and Amelia (Lenart) Cynkar. Henry was retired from Giant Eagle as a Butcher. He was a veteran of WWII serving with the Army and a member of the St. Regis Church Trafford. Henry was preceded in death by his brother, Alex Cynkar. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Stella A. (Levitsky) Cynkar; his children, JoAnn Molnar (Bob) of Alexandria, VA, Henry J. Cynkar of Apollo, James Cynkar (Darla) of Level Green, Thomas Cynkar (Rhonda) of Ellicott City, MD and Ann Marie Sardineer (Darrin) of Trafford; his six grandchildren, Hunter Anne and Noah Cynkar, Pamela Molnar, Zachary, Natalie and Emily Cynkar; his sister, Josephine McCracken (George); numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 a.m. in the St. Regis Church, with Fr. David Nazimek, as celebrant, followed by Presentation of Military Honors.
