Smolka, and the late Joseph Paiano, Jr.; grandmother of Jacob Paiano, Joseph Bonifate, Sr. (Mindy), Eric Bonifate (Christine), Brandon Smolka, Michael Smolka (Elizabeth), and Michele Smolka; great-grandmother of Carmen Bonifate (Sarah), Anthony Bonifate, Joseph Bonifate, Jr., Jordan Zottola, Shannon Held, and Benjamin Smolka; great-great-grandmother of Colton Bonifate; sister of Dorothy Pavloff (the late John), Kathryn Madzy (the late Allen), Charles Eicholtz (Cindy) and the late Arthur Eicholtz (Anna Mae) and Shirley Livezey (survived by Howard); also survived by sister-in-law, Angeline Porter and many nieces and nephews. Ellen was a very loving, classy lady who charmed all she met. She was a longtime secretary at Sacred Heart Elementary to the late Sr. Irene Mary Wilburn, SC, a dear friend.
