FLOWERS ALEXANDER V., Jr. Age 68, of Hampton Township, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018. Born April 10, 1949, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Alexander and Clara (Lenhart) Flowers, Sr. He married his beloved wife, Irene on July 20, 1968, at Transfiguration Church in Russellton. Alexander was a Navy veteran and worked for the US Postal Service for 37 years. He was a member of St. Catherine of Sweden Catholic Church and the Russellton Owls Club. Alex liked to cook and watched Pittsburgh sports. He enjoyed hanging out with his buddies. He loved his grandson and his faithful dog, Sammy. He is survived by his wife, Irene (Grzybek) Flowers; daughter, Pam Juliano and her husband, John, of Richland Township; grandson, John Juliano of Richland Township; sisters, Sandy Jaeger of Ross Township and Carol Kochan and her husband, Stan, of Richland Township; and many nieces and nephews. Alex's family will welcome friends from 1-8 p.m. on Monday, February 12, 2018, at KING FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 2841 Woodland Circle in Allison Park. A Blessing Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at the King Funeral Home, with Father Steven V. Neff officiating.
