DOLINAR JULIA K. Age 91, wife of the late John E. Dolinar. She was born on August 23, 1925, to immigrant parents, Anton and Julia (Lipec) Kiren, of Bac Knezak, Slovenia. The parents each learned to speak and read English. She attended Alexander Grade School in Strabane, entering at age five, and graduated from Canonsburg High School in the Class of 1942. She worked as a secretary in Canonsburg Pottery before her marriage. Living in South Park Township, she volunteered as a teacher's aide and in the office of Nativity Grade School. Later, she volunteered in a Pro-Life Office in downtown Pittsburgh and at Mercy Hospital in the gift shop. She enjoyed listening to the radio and calling WKBN in Youngstown, OH as Kay from Pittsburgh. She is survived by daughters, Claire, Teresa, Christina, Ellen, and Elizabeth; also surviving is her brother, Anthony M. Kern. She was preceded in death by brother, Conrad C. Kern and sister, Erma Kern Pochiba. A Catholic Funeral Mass was celebrated at Nativity Church in South Park Township.
