CHETTLE ALAN Age 80, of Brookline, peacefully on Saturday, August 5, 2017, with his beloved Beverly by his side, after a courageous battle with cancer. Loving father of Susan Rutherford (Mark), Kathy Szitas (Rob), Michael (Kristin) and the late Alan Chettle, Jr. and extended family, Dr. David Romano (Christina) and Gary Romano (Deana); brother of Don Chettle (Mary), Carol Brown (Ronald) and the late Joseph Chettle and Dorothy Mahoney. He was adored by his 12 grandchildren as well as many other family and friends. He was passionate about his game of golf and loved the Pittsburgh Pirates. Alan proudly served in the US Army. He retired from Pepsi after 40 years then worked for Conroy School. He was truly loved by all.
