ALBINGER LEO J. III “SHORTY” A...

ALBINGER LEO J. III “SHORTY” Age 86, of Emlenton, formerly of Shaler Township, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 2, 2017. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War and a Teamster truck driver by trade. Shorty loved fishing and loved to take his grandchildren every chance he could. He was a member of the Allison Park Assembly of God and loved the Lord. Leo was the son of the late Leo J. and Mary E. Albinger, Jr. He was the loving husband of 58 years to the late Arlene Albinger. He is survived by his five children, Donna (Paul) Barkley, Leo J. Albinger IV, James Albinger, William (Cheryl) Albinger and Darlene (James) Ryan; grandfather of Paul Barkley, Jr., Christa Bjalobok, Cara Coulter, Leo J. Albinger V, Ethan Albinger, Lora Albinger, Jay Albinger, Michael Albinger, William Albinger, Pam Albinger, James Ryan III and Shawn Ryan; great-grandfather of 11. Also many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Raymond Albinger, Robert Albinger; and a sister, Marion Cook. Friends will be received at Lakewood Memorial Park Mausoleum, 943 PA-910, Cheswick, PA 15024 for a Memorial Service on Saturday, August 12, 2017, at 9 a.m. Military Honors to follow.
