HUPE BARBARA LOUISE (SCHUCK) Our loving wife, mother, and grandmother, age 85, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Carrick, died peacefully on Tuesday, August 1, 2017, in Arrowood at Southwestern, West Mifflin. Barbara was born April 19, 1932, in Pittsburgh, the daughter of Norman and Ruth Schuck, of Mt. Lebanon. She was an employee in the credit department of Joseph Horne's Department Store. Barbara was a graduate of Carrick High School and lived her entire life in the Pittsburgh area. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Schuck. Always with a radiant smile and words of caring and concern for others, Barbara will be greatly missed by her loving family. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Arthur Bill Hupe; her children, David (Donna) Hupe, of Holland, Michigan, Sandra (Kenneth) Harmon, of Monroeville, Douglas (Linda) Hupe, of Penn Hills, and Darrin (Monika) Hupe, of Beaver; her nine loving grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; as well as various nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation. A private memorial only will be held. In lieu of flowers and contributions, the family requests prayers of love for Barbara.
