PIAGGESI RAYMOND M., Sr. Of Brookline, age 90, on Thursday, August 3, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Mary A.; loving father of Raymond M., Jr. (Patti), Gloria (Edward) Norkus, Andrew C. (Cecelia) and John A. (Lori) Piaggesi; dear Pop Pop of Elizabeth (Andrew) Rieland, Jennifer (Jeffrey) Cadwallader, Ryan (Cara) Piaggesi, Michelle (Jason) Lander, Breana and Natalie Piaggesi; also 11 great- grandchildren; brother of the late Theresa Pasquinelli, Dominic Piaggesi, Norma Pasquinelli-Utzig, Angelina Serio and Mary Lou DiSimo. Ray served honorably in the Army as a Military Policeman in the late 1940s. He grew up working for the Roma Bottling Works in downtown Pgh. which his father co-founded in 1908. The company which sold Skipper pop operated until 1975. After it's closing, Ray continued to work in the beverage industry for the remainder of his career. Ray fully enjoyed his life spent with his beloved wife, family and friends. He will be greatly missed. Friends and family will be received at the FRANK F.
