FERTIG GERTRUDE G. (GIGER) On Friday, July 29, 2017, age 96, of Virginia Beach, formerly of Ross Township. Beloved wife for 50 years of the late Charles J. Fertig; mother of William (Noreen) Fertig, of Virginia Beach and the late Charles Fertig, Mary (Bob) Johnson, and Edwin Fertig; sister-in-law of Edy Bellediger; also survived by seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Family will welcome friends Saturday 8:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m. at SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 388 Center Ave., West View, 15229. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Teresa of Avila Church. Interment will follow in Christ Our Redeemer (North Side Catholic Cemetery).
