PAVLAK ROSE MARIE Age 99, formerly of California, PA, died peacefully with her family at her side on Tuesday, August 1, 2017. She was born on Monday, April 22, 1918, in Brownsville, PA, a daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Consoli) Glott. In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Stephen E. Pavlak on December 10, 2004; three brothers, Ralph, Frank and Dominic Glott; and her sister, Mary Caruso. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Stephen A. Pavlak and wife, Patricia, of Jefferson Hills, PA; three grandchildren, Stephen E. Pavlak II, Nancy Elizabeth Thurston and husband, Bill, and Sarah Elizabeth Pavlak. Also surviving are three great- grandchildren, Katie Thurston, Reese Pavlak and Taylor Pavlak. Friends will be received in the MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME, INC., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, PA on Saturday, August 5, 2017, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., where Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 p.m., with Fr. James Bump, officiating.
