CARTER HAZEL L. Age 83, of Schenley Heights, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Calvin Carter Jr. ; loving mother of Barbara Shirriel (Jackie), Kenny Carter (Karen), Steven Shirriel (Jada), and Angela Shirriel (Michael), and the late Darryl Carter and Michael Carter; sister of the late Hessie Mae Locke, Molly Grace, Hugh, Jr., Nathaniel, Neihayman and Clifton Lee; also survived by eight grandchildren; six great- grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Visitation on Friday, February 3, 2017, from 4-8 p.m. in the Grace Memorial Presbyterian Church, 1000 Bryn Mawr Rd., Pgh., PA 15219, where Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2017, at 11 a.m. Interment Allegheny Cemetery.
