SMITH PAUL FARNEN 95, formerly of Pittsburgh, passed away on Jan. 1, 2014 in Pinehurst, NC, where he retired. He was born on Nov. 17, 1918, the son of the late Edmund Smith and Elizabeth Donnelly. He was preceded in death by Frances Marie Lang (wife), Florence Toohey (wife); Nancy (sister); and brothers, Edmund, Thomas, Alexander, Don, and William. He is survived by children, Nancy Kelly, Paul, Jr., Michael, and Stephen; stepchildren, Kathleen Andrews, Barbara Toohey, and Joyce Toohey. Services were held in Pinehurst.
