VOLGEN KATHLEEN (SWATKO) Age 55, of Sheraden, formerly of Pleasant Hills, passed away suddenly on April 22, 2016. Beloved wife of 33 years to Stephen Volgen; devoted mother of Crystal, Andy and Anthony; cherished daughter of Shirley and the late Edward Swatko; loving sister of David (Kim) Swatko, Sharon (David) Dojack, Judy (Ron) Devey, Robert (Kate) Swatko, and Kimberly (John) Stevens; adored aunt of Jessica (Jason), Bethany, Joshua, Amy, Amanda, Rachael, James; and great- aunt to Sydney. She was a devoted friend to Eddie Walker. Kathy never missed an opportunity to laugh or smile and lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed all of the Pittsburgh sports teams, along with playing in bowling leagues and on softball teams. Kathy was so very loved and will be missed by many. Family and friends will be received on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236. A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted 10 a.m. in the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place in Jefferson Memorial Park.
