BEDDARD JAMES T. Age 91, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2016. He was born March 1, 1925, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to William and Mary Beddard. He was preceded in death by his four brothers, William, Edward, Richard and Leo and a sister, Mary Catherine. James spent his life in Pittsburgh where he married the love of his life, Margaret A. Beddard (Pillion). They were married for 65 years and together raised four children. Caring father to Sharon (John) Hess, Thomas Beddard and Joseph (Christine) Beddard. He was blessed with seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. James was preceded in death by his son, James T. Beddard, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Christine Beddard. James was a veteran of WWII and worked for Duquesne Light for 30 years. James enjoyed the simple things of life - his family and friends which were abundant. You could always count on James as he was there for whoever needed him. He made friends wherever he went. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 26, 2016, from 6-9 p.m. at CIESLAK & TATKO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 2935 Brownsville Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15227. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Wendelin Catholic Church. Interment will follow with Military Honors in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
