MARTIN MARY ELIZABETH (McCONNELL) BITSY Age 84, died Monday, December 16, 2013, of Swissvale. Beloved wife of the late Michael F. Martin; loving mother of Michael F., Jr. (Adele), Kathleen Corona, Sheila Ludwick, Kevin Martin (Linda), Timothy Martin (Marlana), and Maureen Martin; dear grandmother of Patrick Martin (Jamie), Brady Martin (Heather), Russell Ludwick (Deanna), Kylie Corona, Katelyn WyGant (Shawn); great- grandmother of Amari, Emmet, A'Shylah, Eavan and Mac. Preceded in death by parents, Paul and Gertrude McConnell; sisters, Paula Shrager and Gloria Kearney; and dear friend, John Supinka. Mary was employed by the Commonwealth of PA over 40 years and served as a member of the IAPES, Swissvale Senior Center, East Suburban Friendship Club, and Pittsburgh Penguin Booster Club. After retirement, she volunteered for several nonprofit organizations including Family House. The family would like to thank DeVita Dialysis, East End, for their exceptional care.
