BALLOUGH BERNARD S. BERNIE 87, formerly of Duquesne, peacefully on Sunday, December 15, 2013. Born August 20, 1926, in Duquesne, a son of the late Michael J. and Anna (Buday) Ballough. Survived by two brothers, Charles Gooch Ballough and Michael Paul (Gloria) Ballough; and a sister, Anna (Eddie) Carek; also many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers, James (wife Elizabeth survives), Phillip, and Arthur Ballough. Friends received Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the WILLIAM S. SKOVRANKO MEMORIAL HOME, Richford and Commonwealth Aves., Duquesne. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, December 18, 2013, at 9:30 a.m. in St. Joseph R.C. Church, Duquesne. Burial with military honors in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Mifflin. Bernie was a retired Deputy Fire Chief for the city of Duquesne, and a retired security guard for Briton Manor Housing Authority.
